  1. I have never seen this character before this photo and even I could tell that was not a white character. It's no where near white, and even if the character is lighter than in game, that character is still dark skinned, people just do skin tones differently depending on their art (for example, the people that do very desaturated art, white people skin are literally the most white shade out despite that being inaccurate, it's just the art style) but you know, people are twitter gotta do what they gotta do to start stupid drama

  2. He’s neither black nor white in the drawing nor the canonic race he has in-game, he’s just tanned. Twitter’s just arguing for the sake of arguing and it’s such a disgrace to their poor family

  3. These people apparently have never actually met brown people in their lifes.
Skin color changes all the time.
I'm pale ass white but sometimes I look wayyyy darker because of the lighting. Jesus.
And people can draw a character however they want to. I've seen so much fan art of Deku with extremely dark skin compared to his real skin color, but I see no one complaining about that.
It's fanart. It's not like they changed the original.

  4. I have a friend who looks light-skinned in a well-lit environment or setting. But it is only when she's placed next to me, since I have fair skin, that my other friends would notice that she is actually tan. Even I, who has a skin shade 5 times lighter than my friend even thought that she looks fair that I don't almost notice she's tan, not until we bring our arms together side by side and compare them. We're both southeast asians btw. SEA has a ton of skin tone varieties yet I barely take into account people's skin colors when I look at them because honestly, I don't even care what shade they are. It's those who are obsessed with this witch hunt in the name of racism that are so hung up with people's skin colors.

  5. Who decided that removing natural selection in humans was a good idea. Yeah, I get that leaving disabled people and people with deformations to die is inhuman, but why these idiots exist???

  6. This whole white-washing debate is so pathetic. Who cares why a character's skin changes from any color to any color, regardless of the reason?
White-washing is ONLY problematic when Hollywood doesn't want to hire non-caucasian actors for a movie that plays in their respective culture. It doesn't matter for fictional characters at all and it especially doesn't matter for fanart.

  7. Apparently, people in Twitter can't see the difference between the color white and brown. As a brown Asian myself, I could clearly see the character brown and the art is well done. Twitter is literally overreacting to the point where they take it to the next level. Like dude, there are people who have that skin color aswell, there's no reason to bash the artist's art.
