The time between now and patch 13 is the only worry I have about there not being a wipe in may
Sorry I missed the stream yeah was there any way you can talk about flashlights in this game because out of any game I've ever played flashlights are completely broken in tarkov and no one ever seems to bring it up they blind not only the person they're aimed at but the person using it as well in rust they're used perfectly for instance I just don't understand the mechanic

I think you should have 3 dedicated characters with their own skill progression and tasks. 2 PMCs and a scav. And they walk around the hideout sleeping, cooking, cleaning, and working there. They are the ones that upgrade the hideout modules, instead of it happing by itself. Animations and all that. Then, when you take one out for a raid, progress stops accordingly.

Are they going to add a game mechanic where barrel length (more velocity) can add to the pen of the ammo. As in a 9mm round will be a bit different shot from a gloc vs the AR rifle or even a SMG will send them faster and thus add stopping power. Also, do you think they will add the AR rifles that can shoot the 5.7 round. one is called Banshee or something. They also have an AR platform that actually has the 50rnd P90 mag, its pretty cool.
Also another game mechanic that is missing is damage/velocity drop off with distance. (I know it isnt that much as most fights are under 100m…. but if the game is suppose to realistic…… a ps round fired from the AKM hits different at 40m vs 140m).
I just started playing the game a day before the last wipe. Do they give notice about wipes, or is it I just get home from work one night and it has wiped?
