I had written my first *original* song for FNF. It was gonna be in V1 of Sodor Funkin’, and it was gonna be the only song based off of a creepypasta in the mod. (Not Shed 17 or Sodor Fallout). I will not state the name of this creepypasta, as I don’t want people to support it. I had charted, coded, and made sprites for this song, and it was ALMOST FINISHED, but then I found out that the person who wrote the creepypasta was cancelled a while before FNF even existed. I was devastated, as I had put 6+ months of work into creating the full song, just for it all to be thrown out. I didn’t want this song to go to waste, but I also didn’t know what else to do with it, as nothing I wanted to use fits the theme of this song. I’ve asked others for ideas, I even offered to give it to Thomas’ Railway Showdown, but they couldn’t think of anything good for it. The only character they could’ve used it for already had it’s song in production. So, I was left no choice but to get rid of it entirely.

Also, the UI seen in this is not the final UI for Sodor Funkin’. Just thought I’d let you know 🙂

    Edit: If you're questioning why the song sounds so kinda like Sweet Dreams, it's because I did something similar to the No Good Sonic mod, where it takes a piece of the melody from as existing song, and the rest is based off of that.

    Update: We finally found a replacement character for Hellhole!

  25. I don't know how to explain it but whenever I listen to this I feel unsettled and a bit insecure, Thomas is there but something is off and you just know it's not actually the number one we all know.

I was never told of what happened with the creator of the pasta, but as someone who loved the original stories and seeing that there was almost a song dedicated to said pasta in a mod which stayed faithful to its source material down to the Hiro jumpscare and the Sweet Dreams leitmotif.. It's just unfortunate what happened. But don't be disappointed in this, this bangs. I think in most cases, creation should be viewed separately from creator. While the creator in question has done some things, the story is still a fun one. Shame the duology got taken down, though.
