About FNF

Friday Night Funkin’ is a rhythm game in which the player must pass multiple “weeks”, each usually containing three songs.[note 1] Each week, the player typically faces a different opponent.

During gameplay, the opponent will sing a pattern of notes which the player must mirror by pressing the arrow keys or WASD. At the bottom of the screen is a bar indicating how well the player is doing. The left side of the bar is red, representing the opponent. The right side is green, representing the player. Successfully hitting notes will increase the size of the player’s bar, while missing notes causes the opponent’s bar to expand. The player fails if the opponent’s bar fills up the entire bar.

For each week, the player has the option to select one of three difficulties: Easy, Medium, and Hard. As difficulty increases, the speed of incoming arrows increases and the patterns of arrows become more complicated. The player’s high score for each week on each difficulty is tracked and shown in the top corner of the week selection screen.

  4. the woman in eggman's stage was madonna which was supposed to be sonic's original human girlfriend. however, she was eventually scrapped because they thought that it was too inappropriate to be in a kids game.

  16. My Sonic.EXE AU explained simplified:

    Sonic.EXE attacks Tails, who makes it out with minor injuries. Tails warns Knuckles, who's Sonic.EXE's next victim. After Knuckles gets attacked, Knuckles males it out with a sprained wrist. He teams up with Tails, and they decide to warn Eggman. Eggman gets attacked, his face is cut like it's torn in the original creepypasta, and his mustache also receives damage. Eggman gets other injuries, but is rescued by Tails and Knuckles. After they get away, Sonic.EXE appears to finish them off. Tails shouts, "Don't you care about us anymore?!" and Sonc wakes up, a spirit named EXE being forced out of him. Enraged, EXE attacks Sonic, who has since ran away with its victims. It finds them, and kills Sonic. Satisfied, EXE leaves, but not before he tells the boys he'll be back. Sonic has one last request for Eggman. He asks him to take care of his friends. Eggman does, and retires from being a criminal. He uses his wealth, Badnicks, and Metal Sonic to be the hero Sonic can no longer be. Everyone recovers, and live somewhat happily ever after.

    Yep, that's it. TL;DR, Sonic gets possessed and attacks his friends, only to save them and die.

  20. If memory serves, .ERR is essentially just .EXE but you actually get to see the deaths. It's mainly just more brutal because of that and I think that's the main change.

  21. I like how Sonic.Err is more based on the sonic prototype images. Btw the woman is Madonna sonic scrapped/original love interest for Sonic 1. And Eggman has his prototype outfit which didn’t make it in the final cut.
