Reports are saying that the Sonic Movies will “drastically affect the franchise moving forward”, to the point where Sonic will actually LOOK like Movie Sonic. Also, rumors have resurfaced on the Sonic 3 & Knuckles Remaster Leaks. Was Zippo right all along?

I hope they don't milk movie sonic and keep him as a skin for only a few games like only 3 games and actually give game sonic the more fur thing like how they did with mario, but for that get Insomniac to make the visuals and fur.

I think the Hawaii shoots still count under "Principal Photography", so I don't think they're wrapped on that yet–just in Vancouver.

I'm interested in the Sonic 3 and Knuckles remastered, I hope Christian Whitehead is spearheading this and it comes with His version of Sonic 1 and Sonic 2. If this is a compilation I'll probably get it on PC
Sonic is most successful at storylines & visuals and unsuccessful at gameplay.
Comics, SatAM, X Anime and movies are way more successful than the games ever where.
2010s Meta Era Sonic games failed. Colours, Gens, Lost World, Boom or Forces are a failure at storylines.
Say what you want about the 2000s gameplay, the Shonen Anime style writing was amazing. SA1&2, Heroes, Shadow, 06, Unleashed and Black Knight are all amazing.
I want more of the Shonen Anime than the Meta Cartoon. Excluding the comics, the movie felt the most like Sonic.

I'm already sold on a Sonic Colours remaster (the DS version is NOT being included, you're looking too deep into this, man), but Sonic 3 & Knuckles actually coming back? Hell yes. I know Sonic 3 AIR exists, but seeing an OFFICIAL rerelease would be truly amazing – real curious what changes there'll be aside from probably the music. I doubt they'll do this, but I want the Prototype/PC version tracks brought back.
And if the influence of Movie Sonic is going to the point of him replacing Modern Sonic… I hope they still stick with what makes Sonic, well, Sonic.
They better not shoehorn movie Sonic into mainline games they need to keep the movies and the games separated
