  1. Wait… so Sony is not doing what CDPR wants them to do to save face… it's kind of shocking that a tweet and blogpost doesn't legally bind another company to do whatever CDPR wants them to do 🤣
Also, why is this video about Sony, when MS is doing the same and where the ones with the marketing rights? 🤔

  2. This is an incredibly ANTI-CONSUMER look for Sony. I was on the fence regarding purchasing a PS5, but I am no longer interested after learning that Sony's customer service is so horrendous.
The European customer service of Sony also seems to be outsourced to India for several countries, several reports of people not even able to use their own language and forced to talk to a Sony rep who can barely speak English.

  3. If this is how they (Sony) treat their customers, then don't buy their next gen. As i keep saying about everything else when it comes to entertainment mediums…. these companies do not care 1 wet fart if you are unhappy with a product. If you want to get these bungholes attention then stop giving them your money, because that green back is all they care about. I guarantee if we all just kept our money in our own pockets for a year or 2, these companies would DEFINITELY get their shit together real fast.

  4. In defense, we don't know what issues that guy had. From his conversation he already tried to refund it and wasn't found eligible. It's hard to say since we don't know all the circumstances. I've worked in retail and you some crazy stuff there so it's always better to see the bigger picture first and than judge.

  5. The problem with calling the game a 'faulty product' is that it's just your opinion. Bugs are expected at launch and don't come under the 'faulty' title, especially if patches have been confirmed, and a date given. Essentially, you can only claim your money back AFTER they've patched it, on a date decided by the seller.
Legally speaking, Sony doesn't have to give you your money back because you haven't even received the final product yet. Therefore, it can't be 'faulty' until it's the final version of the code.
    Not consumer-friendly, but true 🙂

  6. I do think it has been media poorly reporting the idea that there are special arrangements between console companies and CDPR for refunds. They first said that you should try the store you bought it from, and if you can't get one through them, to contact them directly. I never heard CDPR ever say that they had something special setup, so I don't really see them as being at fault for that. I think it is just a rapidly evolving situation in which articles are being written left and right so quickly, that facts have been bent in ways that differ from the actual truth.

  7. Its a pr move lol. Sony is all of a sudden the bad guys simply because they're denying refunds. Like no cdpr is shifting the blame by making it seem like they're allowing you to have refunds, and only big bad sony is the one stopping it.

You arent getting refunds, simply because they have policies set in place. Cdpr red isnt special, and even if they were they never communicated to sony, and microsoft about refunds.

  8. BREAKING NEWS: Gaming industry ignores consumers rights. Gamers surprisingly shocked.
To be honest, I'm waiting to see the Aussie government sue Microsoft and Sony over this. Hell, my government only just realised loot boxes are gambling, so no chance of protecting consumers.

  9. If you bought the game on day one or pre ordered it then no you shouldn't get a refund. Change my mind! If people stopped supporting these practices games would release finished.

  10. PlayStation: Puts out great games over and over and over and even fixes third party problem exclusives near flawlessly, like No Mans Sky to the point now that they’re getting awards.

Xbots: it’s Sony’s fault Halo Infinite looks like 💩
Bethesda Fanboys: it’s Sony’s fault Skyrim is so full of buggy 💩.
CDPR fanboys: it’s Sony’s fault our game is so buggy 💩.

    😑
