Yes, Kraken and hardware decompression is great. Hats off to Sony for adding these features to the PS5. Its great to see that a few games won't take up all the storage.
What Microsoft did with the Xbox is also very good. We don't know yet if games are using the proprietary compression on the Xbox, or where they are with that as yet.
Either way, oth consoles are great.
