  1. I really don't understand why people are still so annoyed by sony… I mean you can get a decent pc for 200-500€ that runs all the latest games fine and if you like your controller so much then connect it to your pc put steam on auto start and use the steam controller interface… Literally every single game is cheaper.

  2. Yeah the prices on PlayStation store have always been ridiculous. Not sure about US but definitely EU. I’m glad it’s being brought up as it is a bit odd nobody talks about it. Not sure what’s competitive about it as people will surely buy their games elsewhere for a more reasonable price, unless they have money coming out of their butt and don’t care. Their sales are good I’ll give them that. Sometimes their overpriced games are on sale and becomes regular price 🤦‍♀️ I am worried this is part of a more sinister plot to condition the customers, just as you explained. Just like they did with PlayStation+. Nobody cared and most people didn’t want it, until they made it a mandatory paywall for online access. From one day to the next it became the “new normal”, paying for something that used to be free, and a lot of people just accepted it with zero protest. In the greater scheme of things that is downright scary.

  3. Why do people defend Sony's Playstation for a similar thing that Apple is getting sued for now, being a closed system monopoly. Apple is Evil but not Sony, I'm confused, why?

  4. Whoevers paying that much for games, deserves to pay that much for games… if nobody in America bought a PS4 game for a month….. you would probably see significant changes happen…

  5. The Playstation Store is hella expansive tho… Like, i was looking to buy Resident Evil Village this past Friday. The stores where selling them for about 599-649. Wich has been the average game price for near about a decade now. But ever since we lost our local Gamestop, the other stores have gotten lazy ordering in games. So the only way to get it was to buy it digitaly… Again, 599 was what i was intending to buy it for. But on PSN it cost 769…. And that's about what PSN charges for new AAA games. anywhere between 699 to 799 for just the standar edition of a game. 599 is about 73 USD for anyone wondering. So that 769 is 93 USD. Yeah, that's a pretty big price difference. 20 dollar difference between Digital and Physical. I don't see how that is even ok. This is why i hate Digital. For one, the price is 100% in control of big greedy corporations… Wich means they'll charge what they think a game is worth. And a game is more worth the more it sells. That's why i can easily get DOOM 2016 for like 5 USD and GTAV is still like 60 USD on PSN… + You don't really own the game digitaly. You pay for a finite license that you can't be sure that you'll keep. The argument that ''It's in my library'' doesn't really hold up. If for legal reason they have to pull the game it can be pulled from you library as well. + The Publishers can use legal loopholes to just take your game. Physical disc based games you Own… So the way i see it, you pay less for the Disc and get far more. Not at all reasonable. So i hope changes are made. Digital games these days almost cost as much as a Collectors Edition with a fucking statue used to cost like 10 years ago. It's shit…

  6. Honestly never played 2K so I was gonna try it out on one of the older versions so it wouldn’t cost as much if I didn’t like it tell me how 2K 18,19,20, and 21 are all $60 on the PSN store. So I just got 2K21 for $25 off Amazon disc version.

  7. I'm not trying to be funny but it was made clear that the PlayStation prices would be high if you have a problem with it buy a Xbox or a PC.

  8. I like the idea of Marvel getting another fighting game but Don't give it to Ed Boon, That guy is all about money with his $1 fatalities, Paid for Krypt items and full characters that are in the game but not playable. Give it to the Tekken team if you can, They'll make an amazing game worth playing un like MK 11 Trash.

  9. I guess I'm weird. I dislike the Netherrealm fighting games. I miss the old school fighting tournament games like Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter 2 where you pick your character and fight everybody else as that character… The story style of fighting game, where it changes your character up each stage is meh.

  10. Why is this a monopoly, when a lot of online companies sell products that can only be found on their site/store? It's not a monopoly because you can buy other games. They don't control all of the games, they just control their own games. This just means that they can outprice themselves and lose buyers.

  11. Re8 has $0 tax in america, and a $10 tax in Canada. Sue xbox too
New game in america: still $60
New game in Canada $89.99+ $10 tax the regular editions for games in Canada cost the same as the most expensive edition in America.
    Tell me how that's fair
