Hoverpack drops from a mosquito and bear trap drops from present very often.
The bear trap is technically rare…but everything in the present has a 4% chance of spawning. The only exception is the plasma cannon, which has a 0.01% chance to show up in a crate or a present, which I believe is also the rarest rare drop of them all.

Yesterday I got the alien drop from a pot.
I don't think bear trap in a present is rare, I almost always get it.

I got my alien journal entry from a dwelling pot before ever getting to ice caves, and one of the first presents I opened killed me with a bear trap

I thought the bear trap one was normal and pissed me off till I used it to delete shop keeps. Other than that only got the alien in a pot and key from bones in the dozens of hours I've put in already

How rare are these? I’ve only seen the skeleton key, and if I remember correctly the hover pack
