Stamina Nightblade for the Markarth DLC for the Elder Scrolls Online.
Stamina Nightblade is probably the 2nd most sought after class for an all stamina raid composition. In my opinion, 2nd only to the stamina necromancer, the nightblade does great damage and has arguably the best execute in the game. This class is based around burst damage that comes from timing your bow procs with your ultimate. The nightblades bow, skill called Relentless Focus, converts to the ability “Assassin’s Scourge” after hitting an enemy with 5 light attacks. Once is the skill is converted, or “proc’ed”, you can recast the ability to fire a bow that deals disease damage as well as heals you for 33 percent of the damage done. This ability combined with Incapacitating Strike will maximize the damage done with your bow procs. Once your ultimate is cast, your enemy takes an additional 20 percent damage for 6 seconds. I created this static rotation that is focused around getting 2 bow procs in this 6 second time frame and maintains your minor force from your barbed trap at the same time. I tried out a couple static rotations and I just did not have a ton of luck with them. It seemed like they were more work, with no real dps gain on my end. This rotation doesn’t involve too many bar swaps, and as always, is very console friendly. Just like my other stamina dps videos, this is not the most optimal damage setup, but one that most people will be able to run. This is with a non perfected maelstrom bow, which you can get from normal maelstrom arena and the sets are very easy to get. I run the perfected relequen setup, but non perfected will do just fine. The difference isn’t too terrible, somewhere around 2 to 3.
Skills:
Front Bar – Rapid Strikes, Killer’s Blade, Consuming Trap, Relentless Focus, Rending Slashes, Incapacitating Strike
Back Bar – Dark Shade, Barbed Trap, Flex Spot, Poison Injection, Endless Hail, Incapacitating Strike
Start:
Shade – Relentless Focus – Trap – Hail – Poison Inject – Consuming Trap – Rending Slashes – Incap – Bow Proc – Rapid Strikes x4 – Bow Proc
Repeat:
Hail – Poison Injection – Shade – Consuming Trap – Bow Proc – Rending Slashes – Trap – Rapid Strikes x2 – Bow Proc
Hail – Poison Injection – Consuming Trap – Rending Slashes – Incap – Bow Proc – Rapid Strikes x4 – Bow Proc
You will have to reactivate your Relentless Focus every 60 seconds, make sure to do this during the first part of the static rotation after your final bow proc. During your execute (below 25 percent) you will make sure that you keep up your barbed trap, 100 percent and you will only cast
Hail – Poison Injection – Killer’s Blade.
Save your ultimate for when all of your dots are running and you can just spam killer’s blade after you cast your ultimate.
Gear:
Axe and Dagger of Advancing Yokeda – Nirnhoned in your main hand and precise in your off hand.
Double Dot Poisons – I use Crown Poisons
Maelstrom’s Bow – Infused
Selene’s Monster Set and Relequen Body Pieces – all divines
Advancing Yokeda Jewelry – I use one infused and two bloodthirsty.
Mundus Stone:
The Shadow
Race:
Orc
Champion Points:
40 Thaumaturge
72 Precise Strikes
4 Piercing
64 Mighty
9 Physical Weapon Expert
81 Master At Arms
One more thing to note is that during a parse you will have the dummy turned around so that you are flanking the enemy. In an instance where you are fighting a boss that is not turned around, you will have to adjust your CP to account for the penetration you may need to make up for.
