  1. You could use your accumulator charger thing and send batteries back and fourth. Have your ray receivers on the lava planet. Then they can charge batteries there.

  2. The entire dyson sphere system is absolute GARBAGE for power generation. They need to rebalance that severely. Even a chunk of a single ring like what you have would generate Petawatts of power. The fact that it gives 863Mw is absolute nonsense. A freaking solar panel is better at generating electricity in this game than a DYSON SPHERE part.

  3. If you look on the bottom left corner for the little sun or moon it will help you to know which one of the receiver is in the shadow. Also if you zoom all the way in you'll see the real POV of the receiver.

Could have skipped the first stage of smelting by making it on the planet you get it from, ie, iron, copper, gears, magnets, etc. just the simple things or stuff thats close to each other, would have simplified things as you could just call for gears, magnets, etc. Would have saved power as well as you could use local sources (oil, solar) for that first stage.

  5. Z, try Build the Ray Receiving on thered planet (close to the dyson sphere) and charge alots of battery and send it back to Kav IV, you will need to set up alot of charge and decharge Transmitter so it can charge all the battery fast haha, good luck

  6. The output of the Ray Receivers actually makes photons if the mode is activated(it needs research), with 2 photons and some more materials you can make a 7.5 Gigawatt fuel rod to generate power from the ray receivers, please explore the technology tree a bit to see all the good things there

  7. If you want the Copy mod, check out Nilaus latest video about dyson sphere program, he mentioned that he uses a mod that helps him in coping assemblers with sorters, which will help in saving time, and he even provided the links for it.

  8. watched your first dyson sphere program, now I'm 230hrs into the game. thanks Z1 its all your fault..haha. also dont know if you noticed but your dyson sphere can have mult. layers. go all out and build a dyson sphere within a dyson sphere

  9. You want the ray receivers as close together at the pole to get the best percentage – also graviton lenses will double the output. The high output from the dyson sphere is mainly used to get the energetic photons when you progress to antimatter power.

  10. Quick tip for moving LARGE amounts of power. Set up an Intersteller Logistics Station on the Planet that produces power. Have it send full capacitors and ask for empty capacitors. Charge the Capacitors by Energy Exchanger. On the planet that needs power set up and Intersteller Logistics Station that requests full capacitors and sends empty capacitors. Then use the energy exchanger on discharge to generate power. Since each energy exchanger can output 45MW, it is a very scaleable solution to your power problem + no power loss

  11. You can copy buildings with their set recipe, just so you know. You had at least set up your rows of iron ingots and circuit boards without recipe

    And you never accounted for your mk3 assemblers' 1.5x speed

  12. this may be a little too late but if you put a building select the reciepe and then SHIFT click it, it will be put down with the recipe on it, hope it helps on future projects, loving the series.
