This is a Glacial Geek Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team: Arena Battle Report!

The Genestealer Cult had risen up and were overthrowing the Imperial oppressors all across the planet. The fighting was desperate as the enemy, their xenos-tainted forces seemingly innumerable, fought tooth and nail to prepare the planet for the arrival of the Gods from the Void. The Steel Legion, was not ready to roll over, however, and dispatched a platoon to clear out a facility and continue their campaign to rid this planet of the uprising.
Will the brave forces of the Astra Militarum be able to purge the alien-tainted rebels, or will the hybrid forces of the Cult prove too insidious? Watch and find out!

  1. Hey there Phil my good sir! As always your constant quality and entertaining content keeps up my hype for more Kill team even though I cannot play right now. Would you recommend getting Arena? my stores still have stock on it and I was thinking about it before it's gone for good!

  2. Ha! The cultists brought knives into a shovel fight!

Still they might have needed to power those shovels as well…

But I was already fuming (and re-checking I was just not missing some FAQ Geek was too kind to not mention to reveal my foolishness for not noticing…) that you were still forgetting to count the flesh-wounds.

But it turned out you simply misscalculated during second last turn. You had 3 out + 3 flesh-wounded out of 11 bugpeople. That's over half already. Still proud that you remembered the flesh-wounds. Bully. 😀

Also the rocksaw would have failed morale in the last round (no real issue really, but for future's sake) 4 out + roll of 3 +! the 1 guy who already failed his morale. Those screams of panicy bugs do add up. The following guys rolled 1s for what I saw so they were good in any case. Insane (-ly brave) bugs that they were.

Would have fallen back with the guard bois myself on couple of occasions, but mostly a good reenactment of Starship Troopers, a pre-unity historical telling of mankind's struggles against the varied, possibly Tyrannic, xenos races before God-Emperor brought us the wisdom and faith to truly combat these horrid creatures. Or so I'm told.
