The steel series 1 has exactly the same features as this, in a slightly slimmer design for £99. Steel series use the same drivers in all Arctis modes apart from the pros, so all sound the same, you pay for more features not better sound across the range
Try the Logitech G9333 for the ps5 they are absolutely amazing.

Hey Chris, I finally got my PlayStation 5 last Friday. I’m actual super hyped, because it is my first console since the original PlayStation 1. Have to get some gear now, so the black Arctis 7P would be awesome. Playing a lot of old titles like God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn and The Last Of Us at the moment, because I have to catch up all these amazing games. However, I will try to play some PS5 games like Miles Morales and Control over the next weeks and months. My favourite so far is probably Horizon Zero Dawn and I cannot wait for the Follow-Up coming this year. Please keep up with your fantastic videos, I love watching and hearing your voice.

If I could choose, I would go with the Arctis 7p black. My favorite game of the moment is Mafia (one of the best games ever), I am playing on my new PS5 (got it this Tuesday o/).

So far I've used the black shark Pro wireless, turtle beach 700 gen 2 and the arctis 9 on the ps5 and found them all to be average at best compared to the lucidsound ls41 that I used on ps4 (no longer works 100% cause the optical cable) audeze penrose maybe next or a wired a40 🤔🤷♂️

Would love to see these compared to the cheapest Arctis headsets as in theory they both use the same speaker driver so audio quality should be the same. This makes it so hard for me to justify the extra £100+ on these over the wired Arctis 1s just for a better build quality!
