Not your fault for being a bit late with consoles. It’s their terrible release. They should kiss your ass for getting these consoles for a higher price. Never seen such a horrible release plan for consoles.

You made some good points here, if someone doesn't mind paying a little extra but want a guarantee they will get the product they are paying for then StockX is a much better option than Ebay or from a Scalper who would charge you 1000% mark up.
