  1. I also have this game in my Steam account but I had stopped playing it because it seemed like the game was not complete and if I remember correctly they had stopped making it.

I really liked this game but my Hearthlings stopped building things and would not deconstruct most of what was built… I just kind of forgot about it and now I think I want to play it again.

  2. Yeah … I remember having fun with this title … but sort of just running out of stuff to do … looks like it might be time to load it up again and give it another go …

  3. @nookrium You should check out stardrive 1 with blackbox mod and combined arms mod. Stardrive was also abbadoned in poor shape , blackbox mod did wonders to features and performace(game can reach like 7k+ ship count) and combined arms mod increased the content to like 3x of vanila

  4. I haven't played in a while, so looks like the ACE mod's had new things added, but I also rec he mod that lets you play as a goblin tribe, I enjoyed playing as them a lot. (I also tend to favor playing Raya's Children for the vanilla civilizations)

  6. dude this one was great, it was so close to being one of those perfect examples of an indie game. lol I guess the way it released is actually a more accurate showing of that indie game experience too.

  7. I don't know if anybody will read this anymore at this point, but here's the story (as I know it) with the devs abandoning the game: they (their game studio / company / business) got bought by a bigger studio, which then told them to stop sinking any more time and money into this game and start working on something new. The devs apologised very profusely to the community, and also made it clear that not properly finishing the game was not their choice but something forced onto them by their new bosses.

  8. man, that was fun watching you do everything wrong hahaha it's tough not knowing what to do or how to play the game after so long. I actively mod the game and still got thrown off with how much ACE changed in the last update. It forced me to scrap a ton of my work and just incorporate their better implementations of things. I still have my Necromancer all to myself though, I doubt that'll ever be something ACE nabs for themselves lol
Hitting subscribe in hopes I'll see more Stonehearth, maybe another live stream where viewers can toss some advice your way 😉

  9. I think it would be interesting to watch your take on a few "design/building" games like Space Engineers and the others, can't think of them now my brain just went blank lol.

    Thanks for the entertainment boss!

  10. I don't like everything about the ACE mod…it's kind of sloppy and over-built. Using a nuke when a firecracker will do, and a lot of pointless Rube Goldberg mechanics… But, it's still enjoyable, and it's nice to have the missing parts of the game ostensibly available.

  11. This game build system still works like shit and even with the new update from the community it still works very poor and to much time spent on other poor tools this game is still just another waste of our money and time we spent on it.
