  1. I do appreciate that you guys preemptively admitted to being Cyberpunk/CDPR "shills" before praising or defending the game. Makes it much easier to disagree without my stomach churning in disgust. That being said, while the game was definitely a success (and I'd argue the success was guaranteed, even if the game is absolute dogshit), let's not pretend that what CDPR did was okay in the slightest. They lied, deceived, mistreated their employees and looking at how forgiving their fans are, they'd probably get away with it. Yes, the devs aren't responsible for how the game was marketed or sold, but that doesn't mean the rest of the company should be excused. CDPR is no different from most other Triple A game companies and people need to stop believing that these big companies care about "the gamers" more than the money that you're throwing at them.

  3. I've missed both Bruce and Lawrence in a non-streaming format. The nostalgia that has filled my head is immeasurable and I'm so FUCKING EXCITED FOR THIS. Love you both, can't wait to see more Inside Games!

  4. It's interesting how video games are a unique medium where they don't have to be finished when they're released. Imagine drake or someone leaving out a bridge in song or a star wars movie leaving in unfinished cgi.

  5. I love the game, ………but mostly, I love the writing……………the back stories, I care so much for each character……………
Yes, it has its quirks, yes…..there are things that should have done better (AI and physics)…………..but I like it and still enjoying the game.
I'm playing it with with a Xbox One X.

  6. Good to see you back with this type of content!

What's curious about this Cyberpunk drama is that there have been hyped games that released in the past in far worse states, but for some reason, games "media" was much more quiet about those instances.

A big example is the initial release of Fallout: New Vegas, which also had notably buggy releases for the consoles at the time. In particular, I remember there being a game-breaking bug that resulted in your save file being corrupt the longer you played, and loading times getting longer the further you progressed in the game, and straight up game freezes.

Despite New Vegas's issues, I don't seem to recall much flak from games media outside of reporting on those issues, with Obsidian (the developer) largely remaining unscathed by criticism (the bulk of the criticism seemed to fall only on Bethesda). Today New Vegas is held as a bright light for RPGs, but I still remember it's buggy release.

It is a shame that Cyberpunk's release on the older consoles was sub-par, which I hope CDPR continues to address, but as a PC player, I honestly haven't encountered any major issues outside of an occasional NPC doing the T-pose.

  8. I love you guys. I think a fantastic contrast is when you guys did that video for the first Stick of Truth video with Adam and Lawrence.

They, the company, gave u guys a shitty laptop to play the game. Demonstrating how well optimized the game can run on low specs. Pretty much the opposite of what CDPR did.

  9. Base ps4 player. It wasn't ideal but I finished the game twice and got the plat. There was a lot of issues with the game but still had a really fun time playing it (apart from the grind of getting a few trophies )
