Nintendo has had a strong 35 years of Mario. They're retiring Mario while they're on top. There will never be a new 3D Mario game again. 35 years was quite the accomplishment.

omg this is frkn amazing!! This game got me the WiiU, now I will get it again. Bowsers Fury looks frkn insane! Love it!
Also, yes, Tanooki Mario was also in 3D World to begin with. 3D World is just an HD, beefed-up sequel to 3D Land that even scored 10/10 on IGN! There were obviously some changes to the formula to make quality of life a little easier for the most part.
