If there is a "super switch" it will be next gen for Nintendo not a mid gen conversion, they just announced lots of special editions for splatoon 3 and such so yeah no Super in sight
Am I seriously the only person that thinks 3 hours of battery life is fine, I can't even play on the handheld screen that long because the colour accuracy is awful and is has a thicker bezel than the 49 inch TV in my living room. But even if that wasn't a problem, I still can't see myself playing a game handheld for more than 3 hours at a time anyway, and if I did I could just use a battery bank to prolong the battery to as much as 15 hours fairly easily due to the USB-C connector. Out of the next switch I'd mostly just like a 7-8 inch screen with a much smaller bezel possibly at 1080p using dlss, a aluminium frame and some extra performance overall because the concept for the switch is great and it already has some amazing games, it just needs a model with less cut corners.

8:08 That actually isn't a good argument because the OG 3DS was nigh incapable of emulation, it was AWFUL at emulation, not because of a lack of power but because of how it was built, we're talking like 7 FPS with the sound files being absolutely unrecognizable static sounds.
100% would buy the ‘Super Switch’ on launch day. It’s been a favourite ever since it’s launch day and being able to replay BotW and the new BotW sequel in a higher frame rate and 4k, Yes please!
What it needs is a better memory bandwith and higher clock cpu and gpu (gpu should have slightly higher cu count) and then dlss can make the games look nicer. But the actual hardware has to be better. I dont believe it will be that good. But hardware slight weaker than xbox one should be achievable with the changes mentioned above.

They should just make an official "Yuzu" or "Switch Emulator" to play on PC. Do that Nintendo and I promise I'll buy all the Mario Carts and JRPGs.

I have a launch Switch and I keep telling myself it's okay but at this point, it's that car that's making weird noises while driving, doesn't always start-up properly and one of the doors doesn't even shut all the way.
