The distinction between Socialists/democrats and Nationalists is emphasised, but siding with "the market" is siding with the kleptocratic corporations/speculators who are the greatest obstacle to any agenda 'you' or anyone else may have.
Recessions are a complete red herring. The market can cause or fix your recessions at will, the market is what causes recessions, because the free market is far from free. Unemployment is trivially easy to fix, by paying a living wage to the unemployed (with or without employing them).
