  1. I saw that the update changed my Bloodstained file size from 3.3GB(approx.) to a more palatable 1.8GB (accurate) after the update. I guess the team was worried the frequent updates would eat at the Switch's limited memory space. So they invested in some compression in this update. Pretty freaking' sweet if you ask me!

  2. Ver. 1.18 Patch Notes

    Bloodless Playable Character

    – Name a new save file “BLOODLESS” to access the new playable character.

    Randomizer bug fixes

    – Fixed the algorithm so it wouldn’t create invalid seeds

    – Implemented safety chests and lamp, so previously invalid seeds can now be completed. These safety chests will contain the required item to complete.

    Randomizer number of possibilities

    1152 combinations from settings:

    3 GOAL x 2 KEY ITEM x 2 SAVE/WARP x 3 ITEM x 4 ENEMY DROP x 2 CRAFTING x 2 SHOP x 2 QUEST = 1152 combinations

    65,536 combinations per set

The seed consists of 31 bits. 15 of those bits are used to store the settings generated by the initial choices the player makes. The remaining 16 bits are used to generate the randomness in the seed.

    2^16 = 65,536combinations.

Total number of possible combinations for the entire mode:

    1152 settings x 65,536 seed combinations = 75,487, 472 total combinations.

    Other Changes

    – Fixed issue with clan names showing in Save File Selection Screen

    – Fixed an issue with clan names in credits

    – Fixed minor audio issues

I don’t think they are done updating the game so I assume another patch/update will come down the line

  3. Idk why even talk about this game on the Switch. Nobody should waste their money on this game. Especially after the way they treated the Switch owners. The game still looks like shit. If a game like Doom eternal and phoenix rising can look and run beautifully on the Switch than a f#@king 2.5D game should be able to do the same. The devs clearly stole the money from the Switch base and didn't even care.
If you are really that desperate to play this game, just get it on other platform. Don't waste your hard earned money on this pile of shit.

  4. I just picked up the switch version but this is still neat to see. Is the Xbox series x version a new version or is just the xbone version running on the Xbox series X?
