Riot games gives into Tyler1’s demands after the T1 star goes from unranked to challengers as a mid-laner and makes him the face of League of Legends.
Tyler1 has done the unranked to challengers run 4 times now, as a top-laner, jungler, ADC, and as of thursday, a mid-laner, so the Twitch streamer felt Riot owed him something for this impressive feat. Tyler1 joked that if Riot didn’t make him the face of League of Legends on Twitch, he was quitting the game, and it looks like Riot actually gave into his demands.
While they apologized for being unable to change their art and icon on Twitch, they did make Tyler1 the face of League of Legends on twitter, replacing their profile pic with artwork of Tyler1 and congratulating him on adding another challengers role to the list in a tweet.
So now that Tyler1 has gone unranked to challengers in yet another role, will he keep at it till he has hit challenger in every role possible? And with Riot rewarding Tyler1 by making him the face of League of Legends on Twitter, what will happen the next time the Twitch streamer makes an epic run all the way to challengers?
