  1. Can someone please answer this, I play on an old xbox one, so do i need a new one to fix the stutter? I've tried everything. I have no problems in any other fps. Dont know what's going on.

  2. Can’t call it a skill gap if you can’t perform it on both platforms. If you’re able to do it on console but you can’t perform it then it’s a skill gap, in the old days that would be considered a cheat my friends.

  3. why cant mnk and controller players just be friends and exist with each other's benefits? I myself am a console player, and I see no problem with mnk having their movement advantages. We have AA (which we do need, even if it is quite strong), and mnk has their fancy movement techs.

  4. what respawn should have done by now, fix it so ctrl can move while looting, add the option to bind forward to additional buttons in game rather then thru steam on pc(allowing for tap strafing), and allowed mnk input on console so as on pc you get the choice of mnk or controller. neither a hard thing to add.

  5. Skill gap is important yes. The problem is, does it allow people to do things that weren't intended so that it "break" part of the game philosophy. I've seen some broken ass tap strafing clips. It wasn't intended to be that OP (even though very situational), so yeah I think it's good they removed it. Just like the bunny hop healing. Healing should be a punishment, you already get to heal up, to do it at full speed wasn't intended. So also a good change. Just because something increases a skill gap, doesn't mean it's good game design. And sometimes, of course, some of these bugs turn out to be good features and they can leave them in.

  6. Mokeysniper made a really good video on the topic. There's probably only 1% of the playerbase that actually know how to Tap strafe, and a few more that just know about it but can't do it. That is not the problem.. The problem is for New players watching these Apex clips thinking to themselves "This game is too complicated to learn, I can't do that so I won't play it". Even if that's a miniscule amount Respawn still believes they are missing out on potential future players and revenue.

  7. I'm a PC player, playing FPS games since far too long (well, the '90s…). There's a difference between skills you pull off with intended controls (check out Quakeworld, Q3 CPMA movement) and using a binding exploit, where you basically flood the input queue by binding forward to the mouse wheel. In those old games it was actually the physics engines' "fault" that you were able to pull off extreme moves, ledge jumps, etc., you didn't have to do anything with your control scheme. I personally see a really big difference there. There were stuff like you were able to do certain jumps only if you were able to cap your fps at 115 (or something like that), which made a buzz like this – not everyone had a PC that was able to run always at that fps at that time, so it was a bit unfair.

  8. As a console player I don't see an issue with tap staff at all, in 2 year I don't think I have ever died to someone because oh they tap staffed to kill me, it would be bad plays on my side or bad positioning or just been beaten by better player. it shouldn't be taken out the game at all, like you said the skill gap should be there so I stand with MNK players with there complaint of removing it.

  9. B-hop healing was broken af and needed to be removed , there's a reason your movement is hindered when healing . Tap strafe on the other hand didn't need to be removed , it was a niche skill that was very situational and something I barely saw in game

  10. Respawn: can't fix it's servers, audio, hackers issues, ranked for 2 years
Also Respawn: We're removing this oVeRpOwErEd MNK EXPLOIT LOL, that's going to unnecessarily aggravate an already angry community even more, btw get beamed by Aim Assist XOXO, we've also planned to release 6 more heroes in the next two and a half seasons, literally 95% of our workforce is working on that, have fun shifting metas every 2 weeks pros LMAO

P.S. – I'm only mad because I recently bothered to learn how to tap strafe, and it's actually pretty easy..

  11. So I just found Lulu and I only watch her Apex clips because that's all I can find really, but she said she fell in love with gaming in 7th grade, and I was curious if she plays other games on stream besides Apex?
