Walked into my target this afternoon and they told me they have 25 ps5s that people still haven’t picked up that we’re sold Monday morning and I’m hoping they don’t pick them up 🤞😬

The Target app just stopped working and wouldn't complete my order. It kept failing as I kept seeing the inventory numbers everywhere rapidly vanish with every failed attempt to check out.

Got one the other morning. Technically a walk in.
IF Target is in fact placing consoles on the shelves (for whatever the reason), then wouldn’t the return trigger an inventory count increase for the store before the item was even placed on the shelf and thus update the Target app? I’m not sure just how “real time” the Target app is in relation to a selected store’s inventory, but it would seem that periodically looking at the app for your local store’s inventory would be better than walking in.

Target is definitely not doing walk-ins.
My local Walmart in houston, get them and the employees hide them, they have even taken the bar code off the display so you can't make them scan it and show there is stock!

Hey, I just spoke to an employee from target here in my area, he said “I’m not allowed to tell you when we get stock but… just check around 4am today” so take that as you guys wish! Hope I helped a bit
I work in a target they can not even ring them up it wont allow them. Online orders only.

When I went into my target I was told that their systems won't even allow them to ring up ps5. And that if they did receive any returns they would go back on target.com.

I work at a target in Southern California. Ps5/Xbox are only being sold through drive up and pick up. It doesn’t seem that they will be selling to walk ins any time soon :/ hope this helps
I called Target in Rockaway New Jersey and they told me they're not allowed to give out any news on when they're going to get the PlayStation 5 or Xbox to just keep checking online that's the only way to buy it

This is ridiculous. I asked my Target to scan the barcode with their scanner. It shouted 2 in stock. They said if that’s not for walk in. Online only. Now I’m gonna call back
