With only a few weeks to Christmas, Target and Walmart have resorted to hiding their inventory of PS5s and Xbox Series X consoles according to Brickseek.com and Popfindr.com. The sold out Sony PlayStation 5 has had very few online sales since 12/5. December 8, 2020, marked the first nationwide sales of the console by Costco and Sony PlayStation Direct since Friday of last week. Walk-ins at Walmart and Walmart’s dishonest and inconsistent policies on selling the next generation consoles have encouraged them to hide the inventory from potential walk-in buyers. Target has been doing online only PS5 and XSX/S orders since 11/25.
