Tartaglia (or “Childe”) is one of the most unique characters in Genshin Impact. His kit is setup to be one that focuses heavily on DPS and DPS alone. He has the ability to switch between a ranged stance and a melee stance giving him the capabilities to do damage from many places. Beings that he is SUPER unique, he does have some tricks that make him super fun to use, while also having a high skill ceiling. Hopefully, I can do some justice here. If you have a c1 Beidou you should put her on your child team hit her Q and then switch to child and he will do so so so much more damage.

One weapon I would like to recommend for Childe, if you're struggling with energy recharge, is the Favonious Warbow. I don't have Rust ready for use, so I've been using the warbow, and you can recharge his burst before its ready again.
Imo wanderers 4 piece is top tier for him since you literally just spam his charged atk it does Hella dmg and it's permanent not just for 15s
I feel like this guide is a bit rushed. Im not trying discredit him or anything he seems like a nice GI youtuber. But I have a childe too c0 with a harp. I have great glads and been farming HoD for so long, still not able to get optimal ones despite pouring 16 fragiles and 3 days of natural resin. I've noticed that my childe with the 2pc glads back then does less than HoD, with hp% sub rolls on timepiece and circlet. That 30% damage boost is just so much better when you are hitting near the max stats you can equip on him. Plus Ive noticed that both his on/off e activates the 15s bonus so long as you switched after the buff disappears. So anyways what im trying to say is ny childe used to hit 3.9k+4k on the glad and now with HoD he does the same. The HoD gives me 1.8k atk, 50% rate and 115% dmg, still optimizing, and the glad gave me 2k atk, 60% rate and 120% dmg. I think if you use him as a main dps and have consistent rotation HoD is the best set and its practically made for him.
Edit: WL 6, AR 48, level 79 childe, level 80harp. This is just my experience and ik my childe is mediocre against others who hit 5-6k and gets some 10ks in.

I'm using stringless r3 with noblesse 2pc and heart of depth 2pc for childe and I use bennets ult for support and to apply Pyro to enemies then I use childe's burst to proc vaporise and he does like 125k dmg

How does the damage of c6 fischl support vs c6 xiangling support compare. I have both but honestly can't tell which one I like more. And im too lazy to do the math myself
In the coop I got a 128k crit on my burst. Im running the two piece hydro set and 2 piece gladiator. I am trying to farm the full heart of depth tho. Just taking forever to get good artifacts
