Regardless of the legitimacy of the technique: it definitely LOOKS more glitchy than most other movement techs. I think the smart thing would've been for Taxi to just demonstrate ult-boosting in firing range as a new movement tech, and hold off on using it in actual games for like a week or more until more people started doing it and legitimizing it like punch boosting.
It's a much easier decision for Respawn to ban one person ult-boosting on stream, rather than deal with the fallout of banning 5-10 well known players and dozens if not hundreds of lesser known ones the same way they did Taxi.

This is BS. Without people exploiting glitches there would not be any awareness to the problems in the way they coded the game. After all we want to play a finished game and not a new Alpha version. The developers shouldnt ban anyone for obeying the physics they made to their "finished" game. Just Fucking patch instead of trying to set an example by Banning a streamer. After all they will never get to ban everyone for glitching, so that would be unfair.

If anyone here actually thinks this was completely undeserved then ur simply delusional. Being a fan is one thing but u can't act like he isn't doing anything wrong here. This is no movement tech. This is no advanced strategy. This is finding an exploit that is clearly giving u an unfair advantage and abusing it against other players in online matches. Was the length of the punishment a bit unfair? Maybe, but after seeing him admit to using this exploit and other exploits in the same tweet that he's asking why he got banned and then going "this is just how i play the game". I think its a no brainer why he got such a hefty punishment. If i had to guess, they had been watching him for a while because of his frequent use of exploits and questionable tech. And if that's the case then they've been letting him go easy.
