  1. I still think the AI could be done better and yeah allow NPC's on the street to pull a weapon on you, if it appears their threated by you. There is another problem which they fixed in Witcher 3 when you take down enemies the weapons can be very difficult to pick up. So like Witcher 3 they could fix it to allow you to take the weapon from the body.

  2. PLaying on PC so bugs are no big deal. Stupid AI is. I think CP77 tries to do too many things at once. So you can drive drop-dead gorgeous cars through gorgeous streets, but they handle like soapy walruses and AI controlled vehicles don't even really try to avoid frontal collisions. We need a GTA style police force but the devs thankfully didn't put us through the hellish slog of a car chase in Idiotsville, so they just teleport in. We got origin stories (oh boy. I was so hyped about that) but they're (except Nomad) short and shallow with zero gameplay. We have zero choices in 90% dialogs, but endings are varied and masterfully done.
So much to love, so much to cringe at.
This game is the Bloodlines of this generation.

  3. Thanks for showing the AI as it is. No hate or trashing CDPR devs, just simple facts and opinions. Hope after they fix all or most of the bugs, and give us the DLC content CDPR will spend some time overhauling the AI, some quest balance (like the boxing one) and giving us a real living Night City. The megabuildings maybe get used 3-4 times or less in the game, main and side quests included. Would love to explore them, but they are just part of the scenery for now.

  4. I was wondering.. What do you think the free DLC will consist of? Is it gonna be something pretty casual, like new weapon types, cosmetics or even new side quests like in TW3? Or are they going to improve the existing systems in the game, maybe adding entirely new side activities? I'm just curious of how much of an impact the free DLC will have on Cyberpunk, like I hope they are planning something substantial.

  5. One thing that particularly annoyed me is the fact that children don't simply have immunity, but a gigantic weapon-disabling box around them. This became a problem at the end of the game, when I was trying to win a revolver by shooting some bottles in a given time limit, but some kid walked into my line of fire and stopped right infront of them.

Luckily reloading a previous save alters NPC routes.

  6. also when an NPC asks to meet you, they wait there forever 🤣 like Jackie waiting for you at Misty's while you are at the ripperdoc, or Takemura sitting in the diner, the shooting contest, fixer quests, etc. there's a lot of events going on yet also indefinitely on-hold. Cyberpsychos just standing around for months until you level up enough to confront them. It was unsettling at first but then I got used to ignoring any urgency when new events pop up.

  7. The cognitive dissonance and mental gymnastics people are engaging in to defend this game is really impressive in an extremely depressing way. I'm not sure why gaming is so different from other forms of entertainment but whenever a good band dropped a horrible album it was rare to find fans of the band trying to defend the horrible album but with gaming, no matter how bad the screw up, no matter how objectively bad the quality…there is somehow always some army of loyalists willing to go to battle to protect the game and I don't get it. I'm sure the corporations who produce the crap product love it though. Well done fellow gamers.

  8. About the AI, or the game in general, getting "fixed" – like LKM said, that will depend on management to make that decision. And depending on what they choose will affect my choice in the future on whether or not I'll buy another CDPR product or not. Because as is right now, I will not be buying anything else from CDPR until they get their shit together, and become that once consumer friendly company that they were before.

  9. How. Did a game made from 2016 to 2020 get npc's wrong but saints row 2 had multiple dialog options and npc fight u if u try and jack em and some even shoot you and run u over with there car and that game was made on the xbox 360 and in 2008 and takes like 8gb to install … so so strange

  10. The most annoying for me was the driving, cars stopping in the roads to be precise. I'm confident they'll fix it, managers already said they will do right, I doubt they want even more problems now. Personally I really like the game so I can't wait to see it improve

  11. 4 main things for AIs imo:

    1. For semi generated pedestrian AIs
+ have 40% of the crowd carry weapons that mostly "Slaught-O-Matic" or use their "cyberarms" with a defensive behaviors, meaning they will fight back if attacks but prioritize on leaving the crime scene/ running away after the cops/mercs arrived.
+ better pathfinding & zero similar NPCs under 100 meter or so. This is includes the vehicles.
+ stolen car driver will fight back 80% times. Expensive car driver will bring rare or above weapon damage level.
+ ADD bikers riding in open world (for real LOL)

    2. NCPDs & Mercs AIs
+ beat cops or normal mercs arriving in cars properly in a minute or so with cars, alongside the drones. This is actually sometime happened properly but it's pretty rare to say the least.
+ summon cops/mercs need to drop items even if it's just common ones.
+ Max-Tac 100% should arrived from AVs & use "antigrav" boots!! This is probably the devs intentions from the get go, especially with that Act 1 scenes.
+ High level mercs 100% should arrived from big military cars. Also have some of them use melee weapons & cyberarms.
+ aggressive behaviors on pursuing player who run away with vehicles. So far this only works on player on foot for some reasons.
+ netrunner cop/merc as scout or backup caller. I honestly don't know if this is a thing or not so I just add it to be safe.
+ Missions/jobs should be completely disabled if player still in wanted system.

    3. TRAUMA TEAM AIs
+ There should be a summoned Trauma Team AIs!! So far, they are mostly stationary in this game. Summoned Trauma Team arrived with their AVs when player killed a rich looking NPCs or 20% of pedestrian NPCs in NC, particularly in rich districts.
+ randomized "blue star" events should also spawn a fights between trauma team & criminals, not just cops/mercs/gangs. player will get a bonus reward from "TTI" if the victim NPCs are alive during rescue.
+ certain "GIGS" should spawn Trauma Team AIs after player managed to incapacitated a targets.

    4. Street Assassination AIs
+ this is a non-existent thing but I would very much love it if its exist in the game. Basically AIs that actively spawn & hunting V periodically.
+ Player will randomly being attacked by Mercs/corpos/gang members during explorations. Spawn occurrences happened from 5 to 2 hour depending on player "Street Cred."
+ This randomized events activated on Street Cred level 20. So basically 20/30/40/50 with hour 5/4/3/2 interval.
+ Always High Level "red" enemies spawn.
    + Spawn percentage: Assassin Mercs 10%, Corpos 30%, gangs 30%, scavs 30%
+ It might get annoying to normies so maybe this feature only available on HARD & VERY HARD difficulty.
+ Enemies will drop mostly high level items & depending on Street Cred level, epic & legendary items become more common.
+ Mercs & Corpos AIs will sometimes bring drones too.

    Bonus:
+ Netrunner enemies should be more aggressive with debuff damages on Very Hard difficulty.
+ Boss Fights should be a lot more deadlier, aggressive, & harder on Very Hard difficulty. This includes Cyberpsychos.
+ Boss Fights should have multiple armors/health gauge. This includes Cyberpsychos. Especially for ADAM SMASHER.
+ Adam Smasher should be unhackable or it takes long time for quickhack to be activated. This is just personal taste imo.

  12. Similar AI worked in the Witcher 3 because it is just pure RPG game. On my first playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 I did not even notice the stupid AI because I focused on the missions and story. Played it like it was just story driven RPG. On my second playthrough when I explored the world more and played it like a "sandbox" game similar to gta v the issues emerged.

  13. Cyberpunk doesn’t have driving a.i. It’s just pathing a.I. Just like the walking one. This can be easily proven when instead of going with a character to a location you drive by yourself and follow

  14. I've noticed that if there is NCPD in the general vicinity, THEY will respond to you and take a short bit of time to get there instead of other NCPD spawning immediately on top of you. At least in my experience the few times I paid attention. Makes me think its either bugged or they didn't get a chance to correctly finish that feature.

  15. After playing Bethesda open world games extensively, I was used to some pretty decent AI in my games, so CP77 was a big disappointment in that respect. Of course, it really shines in other aspects such as graphics, story, voice acting, etc. I really don't think they will do anything to improve the AI in the game, just fix most of the bugs, release some more story and asset DLC, then move onto something else. Actually, I think taking away the talk function for randomly-generated NPCs would be an improvement – just them be background fodder. Also, why do so many people squat in the game when running away or hiding behind something would make a lot more sense?

  16. "you stink of junk food", irony my V only eats real fruit.
Some parts I game that makes me sigh,
The heIst should have been delayed with a street cred requirement , the district lock down reasons understood but still it wasn't needed.
Evelyn Parker clearly has a cut story path choices
You can shoot from vehicle but only from non owned cars parked beside gangsters , on playstation press triangle from passenger seat.
In owned car press square will toggle car/bike lights but will not produce any light beam in tunnels during daylight.
Iconic gear marked as quest item can not be dropped or stored.
Clothing stores do not include legendary schematics after 24 hours pass from visit.
Crafting has no batch option, updating resource quality takes a long time.
V can not uncrouch during any dialogs , V can not unhalster jump or be killed in safe zones .
Picking up an unconscious enemy V will equipt loot from them at the same time because tap and hold triangle both equipt items.
V can not consume food items from backpack when not in combat whild in hostile zone.
Reloading a quick save in hostile zone while not in combat will put all npc enemy into caution state.
Cows ,coyote ,city birds and aquatic life need to cameo

  17. I find it really hard to treat comparisons to other games and analyses seriously because we all know the game is not finished. To what extent AI and traffic are not finished i don't know but i just wont accept what we have in the game right now as something that developers fully intented and said "yep… thats great, people will be satified". I think analizing many things in Cyberpunk is just pointless and kinda puts devs in a bad light as if they really finished those systems.

  18. One of the most disappointing things with the driving AI for me is that there are some cars that aren't even moving at all they stand still on the middle of the road or bridge, untill you move past them, then you look back and in 50% of cases they will be replaced by another car that than will start move. I hope so much that CDPR can fix this properly and make it over all that what it had supposed to be

  19. The cops need a total change, I hate answer calls from Regina, you go do her mission, and then sometimes the cops will just start shooting at you, never mind the Tyger Claws who just butchered a whole group of NPCs. I even been shot at by the pathetic cops just for walking down the street, not even getting involved in there NPC spat. My opinion fix them or remove them.
