i think that villagers were smart a long time ago. they lived in the ancient cities until people from the nether found the cities and redstone contraptions, and wanted it for themselves. the villagers fled to the surface and never used redstone again, to stay safe. the people who attacked were corrupted and turned into the warden, always listening for the villagers to return. when they came from the nether they brought soul sand, which over thousands of years turned to sculk, but is still released when a soul dies.

glow squid, glow ink makes glowing item frames, you can have a glowing map on the ground and I don't think it breaks if you fall down on it.
glow squid, glow ink can be placed on wood signs. Bonus, you can use dyes on the wood signs and it will glow with the glow ink 😀

I wanna say that that when we heard the ender men screaming help, I made a theory where endermen are actually old corrupted humans, people that habited the world of Minecraft before players came, people got obsessed with teleporting, they had ate so much warped fungus, that the side effects finally kicked in after years, they were a little to obsessed and they ate the teleporting fruit. Some sort of over lord thought they loved it so much that they made them with teleportation, but then, notch came and banished that overlord deep in the void, and then the over lord was gone and notch made players to habit the place, but, the overlord it breaking out, and once we find about at the ender men human thing for sure, he will break out and try to turn you into an enderman… just a theory though, no clue if I’m right.

So, for the post-apocalypse, there's quasi-lore/psuedo-lore that says most the structures in game are a result of ancient builders, but a Zombie Plague wiped them out, meanwhile Villagers with a simpler mind were easily curable, with weakness and a golden apple.
Here's a weird but true fact u can place water in the end and the color is purple to match the purple black and yellowish vibe of the end even though u can't find water in the end u can place purple water I found this out last month 🙂
