  1. My villagers still won't plant crops. I've set one field to flax and carrots and a second field to cabbage. She's done nothing for 2 years and I don't know why. I even put tools in the barn chest and seeds etc. I've tried reloading an older save and still can't get her to work despite being 50% happy. There's food and firewood too, And my other workers are doing their jobs😒

  2. Maybe the field worker farmers can only plant one crop at a time per worker? So if you have two crops to deal with only two workers will work the fields rather than split up the work between 3 or more? It seems like that is what happens in my game, if I only have one crop to plant only one worker will tend to it even tho its a large field. I wonder if its by field, crop or just a bit buggy

  3. kage you seem meticulous with things yet you have 86kg of salt in a food box and cabbage seeds. check all your buildings crates every season and make sure its working. your field workers will not work once barn storage is full and it can fill up in 1 day if resource storage is full. raw foods should be in tavern or on the floor. my field workers work fine so do yours, there was only 2 tasks and they were 3 people. watching you check uncheck look for the barn in the menu llike 30 times in 3 videos for no reason drove me nuts. the forums are full of about 90% of people claiming bugs when its operator errror.

  4. Wouldn't it be funny if the devs added a quest where one field worker complains that another field worker isn't working and you have to resolve it? Would be a nod to the early version of the game when things weren't "working" as they should.

I might be a little late to the party, but for anyone interested… Prague is the capital of Czech Republic and Posen is the German variant of 'Poznań' – a city in Poland, Greater Poland Voivodeship. Poland is divided into bigger and smaller 'provinces' – Voivodeships [Województwa] being the bigger ones and Poviats being the middle/smaller. Powiat is divided into Gminy [Communes – not the best translation I believe].
    Aaaand a little something something for those who want to maybe read more. Why is it 'GREATER' Poland? Well, back in 10th Century the early Polish State was being formed. The first stage of 'From Zero to Hero, Polish Edition' started with Piast Dynasty funding what came to be the Duchy of Poland. They ruled over what now is generally known as Wielkopolska [literally Greater Poland]. There were two 'big' cities there – Poznań and Gniezno. It's not 100% right, but we are taught in schools that the Baptism of Poland took place in Gniezno [both Posen and Gniezno were 'Religious Centers'].
    If someone got interested by what I wrote down 'ere I strongly recommend checking out "The History of Poland: Every Year" or "Animated History of Poland" [both ENG – friendly and short].

  7. Farmers wont work for a reason, each one have a job like 1 use fertelizer, 1 use the hoe and one seeds. If the farm is all fertelized one of them wont work. So 2 farmers wont do the same job, just one farmer will pick up cabage. Sorry for my poor english. I try to explain the best way i can…

  8. Hey Kage, sorry I couldn't stick around for the stream today. A few ideas and notes…
    1. You should take the last day of the season to personally cook up potage from meat and cabbage about to go bad. Skill + no loss of resources.
    2. Cut your farms down to just two 12×12 fields (max is 16×16 still). One only plants flax, the 2nd you can stripe it from spring to winter crops like you have your 3rd field already.
    3. If you do this, you should only need 2 workers to plant stuff even if they occasionally get stuck. Just double check during flax planting season.
    4. The fences around farms look cool, but should put the entrance/exits as close to the barn as possible for ease of access.
    5. Still haven't shown us if you can order your kid around.
    6. Try to find time after the planting is done to group up all the rotten food in one spot. Might as well turn it all into useful/sellable fertilizer.
    7. Uniegost is a castellan (pronounced Kas-steel-lun or Kas-stale-lun); a position handed down from a king, count, or duke which is like a governor. They oversee a fife or county which is why Uniegost runs the whole valley. Castellans usually are granted a castle or will build one (hence the name of the position) and are tasked with taxing and protecting the area, but often are not "noble blooded" like a baron, count, or duke. As such, they are usually not given power to make laws but only enforce laws already existing from the nobles.

  10. Ok so if the food storage or resource storage gets full then the workers fill up their individual workshop storages. If you assign people to work in the food storage or resource storage then they will move items from workshops to storage when space becomes available.

    With farming, currently single jobs are assigned to one worker each so youll never see two workers ploughing the same field. One way around this is to quick save/load after one of your workers have ploughed a few spots, then there will be two jobs – ploughing and fertilizing and so two workers will work the same field doing different jobs. I got around this by having several smaller fields so racg worker can work a seperate field and its small enough for them to get it done 😁

  12. kage, it looks like the farmers work as 1 person doing 1 action in 1 field – for example you have one field getting ploughed and 1 field getting seeds, it looks like when two NPC's plough a field they are both ploughing the same square at the same time which i think is a bug

  13. I could not see what option was picked between 1 or 2 when kage had the son joined the watch at the end of the quest. Did he choose 1 or 2? I did try to play it back but it went too fast to see…
