In the seed I mentioned at the end of the hardcore my brother and I found a village with the maypole. We moved our main base there and built your perfect longhouse build with the maypole in the center
the triangle bits under the roof are called trestle and eaves.

my first playthrough was less than 100 days. random seed. didnt look up any tips or tricks. in fact i did it within 72 hours of the games release. so should be pretty easy for you to do this

You can't destroy the bed with the hammer but you can hit it with your axe to destroy it
i beat the games in 115 days hardcore mode, beated bosses twice for my trophy house. I really took my time to minimize risks so ur challenge is doable ezpz 🙂 Good luck homie !!
