Double Dragon, famous game, less famous movie, and probably for good reason. People often bring up Super Mario Brothers, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter: The Movie under the various banners of “Awful”, “Great” or “So bad it’s good” but not enough people talk about this hot mess. Taking barely anything from the game, and throwing in a good dose of 90’s cheese, Double Dragon: The Movie is the best worst videogame. No backsies.

I know where you're going with this series and I'm already putting my foot down now, that the 1995's Mortal Kombat film is way better than same year Street Fighter film.
Tomb Raider wasn't that bad and they're still making video game movies, another Mortal Kombat film comes out this month! …won't be amazing but it still beats any chance for another Street fighter film hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
What a terribly written, painfully unfunny mess that was. And don't get me started on Double Dragon! 😛
9:36 That piano swipe was so out of place, yet so perfect. There's something innocently and totally awful about 80s and 90s action movies that just can't be replicated today. Everything seems to be more cynical and self aware now. Probably because one is not now starved of movies and renting random films from a petrol station at the weekend out of pre-internet boredom.
Fucking fantastic. Loved the King Rollo music! This looks like good silly fun!
This is a film I have never seen but after watching your review I feel I have no need to either. Excellent stuff🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This was great fun!
Wow. This makes Uwe Boll game movies look masterpieces. I'm really confused.
