Did you notice the symbol in his eye? It's the same symbol you see in Kaeya's and the "unknown goddess". I was thinking about the long 4 minute trailer and was wondering if perhaps Dainsleif was talking not about the MC's sister, but the unkown goddess.
i think dainsleif would be honkai element. this is because he referenced a power from beyond, and whats beyond teyvat except the honkai multiverse. Its been confirmed that otto did see dvalin and thus the universes are connected. the appearance of honkai also would have resulted in the creation of the abyssal order and relates to the fall of the eclipse dynasty in khaenri’ah.
I'm calling it now, he's the current king of Khaenri'ah, and Lumine is the queen. She's been called 'my queen' by the Abyss Order, and we alreayd know Hilichurls and etc. were the people of Khaenri'ah who were cursed and they spread down into Teyvat. If Lumine and Dainsleif were lovers, it would explain why he feels the need to contest with the Traveler over who has the right to "save" her.
He's gonna introduce another element like darkness sometime down the line maybe? The god that defeats the traveler at the start could be the antithesis, the light element.
I won't be surprised if Dainsleif is Aether's dark future from a different timeline, a similar traveler who ended up his journey tragically, or an otherworldly being who got "isekai-ed" in Genshin universe. Well, either way, theories are just theories. The story maker and the CEO may change their minds in a whim and Dainsleif well end up as a genderbent Lumine XD.
