Kai'Sa just recently got some help by Taliyah to escape out of the Void tunnel. Taliyah was wandering nearby there to help everyone that still alive.
After spend some time with Taliyah and her survivors on the surface, with a bit contrasting idea between Taliyah “I’m not willing to let any of them go” and Kai'Sa "Everyone will die, you all need to run. there's no safe places for the void", Taliyah accept that these survivors need to step back for their safety, but she will go check the marked town (their destination) that show in the cinemetic to find out the situation (Is it available for them to be settle there) with her new lonely companion that intended to go there alone, as before.

Ornn is the god of forgecraft. He does NOT make weapons. Hell, he made a fork once for his own use, disliked it for some unknown reason, and threw it away. It was found later on and was regarded a god tier trident weapon. It was a simple item he forged and it had that much power. But here, he purposefully made a sword. Which means a great danger is going to happen in league lore soon, that even ornn would break his no-weapon forging rule over.

If you go back to Aurelion Sol story that scene happens when the Targonians enslave Aurelion Sol using a magical crown.
