In todays video, I will be covering performance in Escape from Tarkov and how you will be able to get the most FPS out of your game, this video should hopefully improve fps dramatically and help reduce your stutters. I will be going over both EFT Graphics settings and a bunch of graphics card and windows 10 optimizations.

Hey you special people who read this far down in my description: Hope you are gonna get laid tonight… You deserve it because of how well you treat me and this channel… Unless your underage, in which case I hope you don’t get laid however are still having a lovely day anyway.

YES!
Ta!
The main problem of EFT are the damn servers
your voice is soothing
"Shadow quality to low"
Screen says ultra.
Edit: then you go and change it along with a few other things a minute later while talking about different settings.
Best leaving the screen as how you have it while commentating 🙂
Finally I can boost my FPS on my shitty pc 😀 (i7-9700kf, 16Gb ram hyperx fury 3200mhz cl16, gtx 1050ti oc version and everything is boosted to maximum)
I managed to make it to 2:40 before I had top stop watching. A lot of this is not true. You're giving people BSG's specs which haven't been updated in ages and are not enough for running the game properly.
8GB of RAM is plain insufficient. 16GB minimum (speed is less relevant).
A 2.4 Ghz processor is woefully inadequate, and even 3.2 is below the minimum to have a decent experience.
I had to OC my 4770K to 4.3 Ghz to have a decent experience. I run 16GB of DDR3. 1440p is barely playable and dropping the resolution only really helps you get away with a lesser GPU than my 2060, but not with reduced CPU and memory.
4+ Ghz and 16+ GB are plain and simply the real minimum specification. You might be able to get away with a GTX1060 at 1080p, I consider the 2060 (or 1070) to be the minimum for 1440p and be prepared to buy a 3000 series or anolder **80 class card for 4K. At minimum. Meaning, 50-70 FPS. Don't bother playing Tarkov (or any online shooter) at 30 FPS. Just don't.
For faster refresh monitors, you'll want to step up the GPU from a *60 to a *70 or *80 class or to a newer generation than what I mentioned above. You'll want 24+ GB of DDR4 memory (3200 Mhz is fine, RAM speed doesn't affect FPS that much) and a CPU no older than 3 years running at 4.5Ghz or more.
On the other hand, the SSD is not a hard requirement I found, with an asterisk. If you only have one drive in the system, it should be an SSD. If you run multiple disks, you can get away with an HDD for Tarkov. The key here is that absolutely nothing else runs off that HDD at the same time (like, say, Windows). I frequently am the first to load, reaching "Waiting for players" as soon as 1 minute 30 in some cases and not going over 2 min 30 very often. An SSD can handle a lot more random access, so that's why it can handle multiple things running off it at the same time, but an HDD isn't fundamentally problematic for Tarkov. Note that a separate partition is not enough. The HDD from which Tarkov runs has to be physically separate from other drives that are being accessed.
I've been comparing my system to other people's systems and how Tarkov runs for them at every opportunity, and this is the result of that research. I'd say my system runs it about as well as it possibly can. I do run at almost all settings maxed (but settings that go by check box or drop down menu are almost all disabled, these seem to cause drops in performance more than anything, YMMV). Things like view distance, textures, and so on seem to have a VERY small impact on performance, if any.
Just applied these settings, getting easily 15-20 FPS higher than my previous settings. Great video
They fixed v-sync so you're supposed to turn it off on both nvidia and in game for least latency.
thx you for the information, i hope to get more fps soon 😀
Holy cow. Super super smooth now. And I'm not getting any screen tearing!
Hold up, 5:40, did he say Shadow Quality to low while his screen shows Ultra?
DLSS from Nvidia will come up for UNITY : life (fps)saver …
My gpu is being used more than anything, of late it has high fan speed going and it hasn't done that ever with the game.
Should vsync be on or off?
How to boost your performance – use shadow?
First time that a Tarkov optimization update actually optimized my frames a little!
"use physical cores. look again how u made it 😀 hehehe u point on the RAM thing 😀 small detail but just noticed it 😀
I would highly recommend turning on XMP otherwise you are not getting the most out of your CPU and RAM. This can give anywhere from a 10-50fps increase depending on stock frequencies and the XMP profile.
No just no. The minimum requirements are obsolete since they have never been updated from BSG since Closed Alpha.
Even the lads at the EFT Wiki blindly refuse to update them like they are some Holy Totem…
An Intel CORE II Duo @2.4Ghz can barely run Windows 10 nowadays, not Escape From Tarkov…
