Well like that old saying goes " it takes one person to ruin things for everyone " even when it comes to leaks
Well yeah, tbh it's kind of annoying to have a new update and then get big leaks of the next one. It really doesn't let the present update be enjoyed.
I sorta sent a thank u message to lumie through a guy in eula mains who is his friend and thankfully lumie replied, never gonna forget this, lumie if u r seeing this man, dont worry mate everything will be fine.
So it was mihoyo's fault for leaving their beta files vulnerable in the first place? No wonder they can't give us better account security, they can't even protect their own resources in the first place after all lmao!
I love the leak because I'm a free player. leak makes me can save and anticipate the incoming good characters.
This is whole mess is just a massive steaming pile of "what the hell" at this point….

Mihoyos anti leak policy shit is hilarious. Its dumb. Leaks and leakers existed for yeeaaars. They are going to happen you CANNOT stop them. Just try to capitalize on them, use them to build hype for new charecters etc. Quit wasting their time after the fact.
The one who started this drama is a Russian leaker name BigBoss, not just the leak, the Russian who also breached a lot of genshin players account.

I feel bad for the leakers like lumie, they where cool. As happy as I am seeing yanfei and eula, I wish that not everything was leaked :/ surprise is fun bruh
Leaks are good in moderation as in all things. The all at once debaucle screwed that for the more modest leakers and for the whole community. I like surprise as much as the next guy and I really do enjoy seeing some leaks so I can be prepared for what's to come. But with all that came out as a "leak" just became overwhelming and I found it hard to really play the game comfortably due to the constant flow of ideas of what the heck do I do to prepare? It was all jumbled up… And I really cant blame Mihoyo if they choose to push back some of the content that was leaked. In essence it was very unfair to the development team. And the community too, so in closure to this statement. Keep it to a minimum and let it be a calm stream of leaks then a freaking flood.

To those who want to throw miHoYo under the bus and say its there fault in making the information public, it was an accident those things happen sometimes. And can be at the worst of times. We dont exactly know what was happening for it to have happened that way, so if you're going to be jerk at least take it into perspective first.

My problem with leaks is if the company decides to hold something back because its not ready or decide to scrap something and people complain about it despite them not suppose to even know about it in the first place
I dont think leaks will financially affect mihoyo, i mean this is not movie in theater. I never planned to pull hutao after watch the leak. But i ended up going for hutao c1 with homa after community review. So basically, those who willing to spend money, they will. Those are not willing, they wont
ok so.. because of one person who wanted to "make their job harder" and leaked everything at once… this whole fiasco happened. well great. A+ for that guy…
but instead of just the leakers having a harder life, even Youtuber or people who interacted with leaks now have problems.

Free to play or not, i believe leaks are not good imo, it ruins the excitement of finding out what to expect in an upcoming release version that is not even close to being released yet, and it's not like mihoyo does not show like a live stream event of what is to come when the next version update is close to release
I mean I can understand why people want leaks but at the end of the day, MIHOYO is the one who owns the game and spend their money developing it. They should be able to release info when they want it to be released not to mention that spreading leaks like this is ILLEGAL. Also, because I am an f2p player I understand everyone else's frustrations about not being able to keep up with pay2win players but because this is a pve gacha game that's just how it works. We are literally having fun playing a game for free that others spend thousands to play. even if we get 80% of the experience that they enjoy, we're still winning in this situation. Mihoyo should make the f2p experience better but we're literally not making them any money directly so it's irrational to think that they should care for us just as much as they do others.
I would say Yes and No for the leaks.
Yes Because i would like to know future character on who saving for.
No because they leak so much until Mihoyo gone mad for many leaks
