Can you make same video but with top lane machup like for example irelia vs jax ?
You should prove it by laning against Ashkan or any other ranged ad as Kassadin without getting jungle help at plat elo. Playing completly helpless matches in solo lane as Kassadin than i will believe you.
I have to disagree with that video. Iam in very low elo, so I can say, that my skills are some kind of bad. Even with watching your video. (I don't have the intention to get in high elo). I have tryed top and bot lane for a long time and I had many matchups I defenetly could not win in early game like playing Urgot vs Mordekaiser. The best I could get was something like being even with "good" lane control, good recalls and help from the jungler.
I just want to say, that for low elo the match-up might matter more than for someone who understands the game.
so lulus winrate vs lux is 50.8% and somehow this is a bad matchup for her just because shes down 500 gold at 15 minutes? what kind of logic is that, according to this, yuumi would be the worst champ in the game because shes down 500 gold at 15 vs pretty much every champ in the game even if her winrate was 60%, doesnt someone else see the flaw in their argument?
first of all the reason lux has more gold on average is probably because she has an easier time poking the enemies because of her bigger range and so she will get more gold from her support item, 2nd she probably will steal some cs in the laning phase because all her spells are aoe and she deals decent damage, and 3rd because she deals so much damage shes bound to steal some kills sooner or later. on the other hand lulu is still more efficient than lux even with less gold, hence the higher winrate, how can anyone take these guys serious when their arguments are flawed right from the very start, i dont get it.
Cant just lux contest the wave too with E and can hit 3 or 4 them with lux passive which can contest lulu's wave clear
0:52 Numbers and pictures don t add up!
1:50 wouldn't that just tilt the adc?
its not bad match ups, its bad supports lol i knew that lol but seriously is that 4th clip a clip from one of my games? i love my Lux's and Janna's sitting under tower until lvl 6
I can't begin to tell you how many lanes I've lost trying to make level 2 work as an adc 😂. I get level 2 first, walk up to fight, enemy engage and ignite me level 1 and my support is just watching the action and then pings my flash and heal 🤢
Matchups don't matter on low elo, until you pick a sion on a fiora
"when the sample size is this large it is definitely statistically significant"
me on my stats test praying for partial marks
The thing is 2 ppl with a similar skill level, even if you are better than your opponent, the matchup is very relevant even in low elo.
Please show a real counter match up. Let's see some teemo/quinn into Nasus/Trynd OR some panteon into Jax. Or Camille into Poppy.
I'm tired of "statistical" BS. Those statistics are primarily bad players and we all know that.
I think you have the wrong vision of what gold supports do. While they are not useful at times, I have rarely seen any gold support stand around and do aboslutely nothing. Saying this is MOST of the support is just plain wrong.
yo
wow, cor-jj example was really bad…. giving the opponent is cait and lux, 2 of the most range champ vs a mid range jinx and lulu.
Also this is the 2nd time i've seen high elo player saying our match up doesn't matter, it matter to us who plays at the same skill lvl, we might not take advantage of the other minor details, zoning lvl 2 etc, but this doesn't mean we cannot learn from our mistake, experience, and skill cap matters. While for you high elo players these are the most basic you can learn, remember there's a reason why there are ranks, some of us hit our skill celling, or careless. Not everyone who plays basketball wants to be a NBA star.
Oh man I've met adcs so bad that they didn't get any items 30 mins in game and when I asked why they said they get the full made boots and the mithic at the same time.
And then I felt like ahh that sucks.
half support players are boosted by their champion, the other half are really boosted haha
Hectors voice is so soothing at this point
5:37 why didn't lux stop their recall? In my gold games people chase me all the way to my third Bush before they let me recall
If you consider both examples the ONLY difference in the laning situation is Caitlyn. Caitlyn's range tips things wildly out of comparison and it is my strong belief that it is the reason the lane went the way it did in CoreJJ's example. Yes, Caitlyn did not get any amount of crazy auto damage on CoreJJ, but that is because CoreJJ and his ADC were forced to play in a matter that prevented it. That in and of itself is enough to either force mistakes or force a position of play that actually prevents gaining the advantage that the Jinx/Lulu against Twitch/Lux had obtained.
Yasuo is the best support ever even his teammate is forced to dodge
I agree with the people who say this matchup doesn't really feel like a counter matchup, and more like a skill matchup where one side wins with perfect play. Show us a toplane matchup like jayce vs tahm kench/mundo or teemo vs cassiopeia where one side of the matchup is unbelievably punishing to play because it feels like if you mess up a little, your lane is over, while if they waste spells, you can't punish effectively.
What you've demonstrated here is that skill matchups which favor one side are winnable in low elo… which I don't think anyone disagrees with.
But to say that matchups don't matter in low elo, you should show us matchups which seem almost completely unplayable to us.
Hello, we want videos for wild rift please
i think matchups matter way more in top and midlane since there you actually lane 1v1 and also there can be way harder matchups where you egt outscaled aswell. Think Annie vs Kassadin or Fiora vs Yasuo or smth
Well unfortunately you took a really bad example by picking Lulu, a support that is always useful.
I agree that there is pretty much no excuse to lose a matchup in low elo but c'mon it's so much easier to be able to play the game if you play ranged champs and you are not in a solo lane.
Top is most commonly the lane were you have unplayable situations depending on the matchups or the jungler
