Next-gen support lands for The Division 2. Its latest update 1.21 lets PS5, Xbox Series X and S all run at 60fps, though there are some curious side-effects on Sony’s latest machine. Even compared to PS4 Pro it’s bizarrely missing screen-space reflections and volumetric fog. Tom and Alex dissect the update to talk on the state of the game on all platforms.

  2. Is it me or does it look way better without the fog?
I think I would take the performance over some fog tbh. I play on pc and often turn stuff like that off, depending on how well it is done.

  3. How about throwing the PC into the comparison as the fanboys think they are so close in performance and features. I'd love to see a console spec'd PC compared along side the consoles. Hell throw in some older systems too. Something with 2k series cards and the equivalent AMD cards.

  4. Thanks for the video! I just eagerly started the division after hearing of the 60fps patch and I was instantly put off by the visuals that I remembered much better but I wasn't sure if my memory played tricks on me because I didn't want to set up my PS4 again just to see what's going on here. So my memory is fine. Yay. The update is boo.

  5. I don't know i feel about what you just showed the load times for all 4 systems. I have a One X an i love division 2 an I just changed my HHD out an put a SSD with very high read/write in there an im right there with in the 6. Something load. An on top of that I have a Lg Oled an a audioquest HDMI Carbon cable with audioquest power cord connected to my One X an it shows just like the series X/S.

  6. Havent played this game for almost 8 months. Ubisoft missing potential the second time. It started well but the lack of content and stupid balance issuess really killed it. Imagine having no content in mmorpg. That is the whole point of the game, and then they release dumb tower with randomized repeating shig as something ground breaking. Why would anyone want some randomized shit to farm for days and days? How is that fun?

  7. Lol so when a PS5 version of a game has visual issues or frame issues and etc it’s “The developers must’ve forgot to add that, they are working from home. “MUST BE A MISTAKE”

But when an XSX version of the game has same issues on release it’s “THE HARDWARE IS INCAPABLE!” “NOT POWERFUL ENOUGH HAHA”

    You fanboys kill me 🤣🤣🤣
