  1. I like this theory, seeing the Empire start as a powerful force in the beginning of the series, then starting to crumble until is almost completely destroyed is a interesting narrative.

  2. Trancribe means not only copy but change into another form, so I think it's simply as it says, Bethesda are moving the story to Hammerfell. Which is great confirmation of what I hoped after the trailer. The coins are from Greymoor, just decorations they had lying around.

  3. FYI Skullzi, this is all you need to cure your vampirism:

    cloves of garlic x6
    nightshade leaves x5
    bloodgrass shoots
    x2
    blood of an Argonian
dust of the powerful vampire, Hindaril

  4. Don't read too much into this tease. The Sea of Ghosts is the beginning. Tiber Septim came from Atmora. The coins are the present (what they're selling now). They're just peddling the latest ESO collector's edition. Those are the four different challenge coins included. There's a coin for Summerset and Elsweyr there as well. The Solitude coin is made to be most prominent because the expansion is about Western Sykrim. See here. https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/71PqPM-NA6L._SL1500_.jpg Everything else seems as though it's just as it was before and during Skyrim. I believe the canon ending of Skyrim is that the Imperials defeated the Stormcloaks and that Skyrim, as the map indicates, remains a province of the empire and not an independent nation. Hammerfell will be the future. I believe Skyrim, and the events of Skyrim will likely matter little to TES VI. Alduin's defeat, like Mehrunes Dagon's defeat, will simply be lore in the next game. At most, they'll be like the Oblivion crisis. The Oblivion crisis weakened the empire to such a point that the Altmer took advantage and almost annihilated them in the Great War. And that same lore is the only thing we know of that may matter in TES VI with Hammerfell finding itself independent of the empire and feeling betrayed.

  5. I don't know. I feel like you may be looking a bit too much into this.
The coins are from the Collector's Edition of ESO: Greymoor.
I think the choice to display the Solitude coin more was just because it's a Skyrim map and the latest DLC for ESO.

  6. Right, we have hammerfall, solitude docks or solitude itself, and one on a book on the sea of ghosts. From the events of skyrim thalmor and imperials are always saying that the war isn't over, just a calm before and even bigger storm, now hammerfell is waging a defensive war or maybe a literation war im not quite sure on which type of war the details on which type aren't important. But what this all means is that perhaps instead of stormcloaks vs imperials. Perhaps the thalmor grow critical. Strength and have been crushing everyone. And it is up to our new protagonist to pick a side and fight for what they believe in. Thalmor vs a rebellion that won't be ruled by the elves. Its what I've gathers, if you want to correct, expand, or add anything to this be my guest.

  7. The only thing is, titling TES VI: Redfall based on the fall of the Empire… and basing it in Hammerfell which is free, is a little odd. You would want to make a game about the fall of the Empire include a province of said Empire.

I agree that a Solitude Coin indicates the Empire may be dead and Skyrim may be free of it, or even split amongst other lines since Solitude is just one of the Holds.

  8. The four coins represent the chapters of eso : morrowind, summerset, eslweyr and greymoor. And The eso oblivion trailer didn't showed a location and we just assumed it will be cyrodill what if it's in Hammerfell and it's just a ESO tease rather than a TES 6 tease.
Just speculation obviously but most people aren't seeing that the upper candle isn't on the map so it isn't on the sea of ghosts.
Pete also said we wont hear anything about tes 6 before starfield is released.

  9. The empire has been a main focus of practically all elder scrolls games. Can Bethesda really afford to take the empire away from the story and the world and leave only the Aldmeri Dominion and the nazis… I mean thalmor as a dominant power?

  10. Me: Drinks Salt potion.

    Me:
Damn man! That makes sense. I did notice the coins were not septims but for some reason, I didnt give much attention.
But yeah… Redfall… The empire fall? Solitude coins for Skyrim region? So… The nords actually won eventually? Perhaps…

  11. These coins are merch from elder scrolls online and that's why the wolf is different, also the next coin we see, the one with the two moons is a khajiiti one and the rest should be a altmer and dunmer coins. They're all themed after every eso chapter. Maybe they ran out of septims and decided to place these, I'm not entirely 100% sure they're connected but I believe the theory that the empire will fall in the next game

  12. Candles are regularly put on Graves. And with the new coin so yeah the Empire is gone. In fact I'm pretty sure Cyrondil itself is shattered between any number of smaller holdings after the Senate arranged assassination of the emperor.
But that would be pretty heavy on speculation. Still a shattered Cyrondil is what I expect. Perhaps combined with a unification of high Rock to be carried out by the hero of elder scrolls 6.
Living room for a elder scrolls 7 wearing a new Empire is forged from either Skyrim or high Rock…. But that is already a whole former sea of salt..lol

  13. It would be cool to see a more realistic currency system or even just different localities having their own coins with the septum being the equivalent to a gold standard or just the international currency like the US dollar is today

  14. At the time of the Great War, the Empire already had been reduced to the provinces of Cyrodiil, Hammerfall, High Rock, and Skyrim, and at the beginning of TES5: Skyrim, only controlled Cyrodiil, Western Skyrim, and High Rock.

  15. I am completely convinced that that candle is not on the Sea of Ghosts, or is pertaining to the Sea of Ghosts, it's intentionally trying to get you to figure out the book its on. Hence the saying "Transcribe the Past".

Edit: Actually, maybe the Solitude coin is referencing the book that the candle is supposed to be on? Isn't there a book specifically about the Wolf of Solitude, an old Great King?
