  2. Your Elder Scrolls music and ambience compilations were such a beautiful gift in 2020, and they still are in 2021. Listening to these really helps me focus on my studying, which has been hard to do in these trying times. So, thank you for these. They are just the calm I, and so many other people, need right now. This particular compilation is really beautiful, but my favourite will always be the Elder Scrolls Peaceful Night Sky compilation <3

  3. Check out my micro-story written to the music and images of the video. Enjoy!

The wilderness of Valenwood—a roughland teeming with wildlife, secrets, and danger—stretched well beyond the adventurer’s gaze. She had just descended a grass-covered knoll which nestled within the crook of meandering river, its surface like churning silver. Moss-carpeted rocks bordered the river’s deep banks and yellowed ferns grew within their cracks and spaces.

To the East, tall imposing mountains looked down at her, their caps no longer white with winter and spring snow. All of it had melted. She imagined cascading rivulets falling down the mountainside, feeding rivers and tributaries like the one before her as they flowed to the mangrove coasts to the West.

The adventurer craved days like this. She needed to hear the soft babble of water breaking on rocks, the summer songs of nesting birds, and the stiff wind bending and creaking the boughs of pungent pine. For a long moment, she stood there and closed her eyes, letting the warm sun bath her face as she took deep breaths in and out. Her sense of smell welcomed the sweet, wildflower aroma and loamy tones of wet earth. She opened her eyes, rejuvenated. Feeling the weight of her sword belted to her waist and a pack brimming with supplies and stores, she set off once more, the Valenwood and its secrets soon to be hers.

  5. Composer Jeremy Soule's work on the Elder Scrolls series is nothing short of legendary. Skyrim itself rivals some of cinemas biggest blockbuster movie scores. Thank you very much for this AW! You've knocked it out of the park once again with this amazing update!
