The Elder Scrolls: Total War is a mod for Medieval II: Total War set in the realm of Tamriel and within the lore of The Elder Scrolls. You can play through either the third era (Morrowind, Oblivion) or the fourth era (Skyrim) as one of many factions corresponding with all the races of Tamriel.

We will be playing as the High Elves from the Summerset Isles.

Join me as we conquer all of Tamriel and, eventually, subvert the Oblivion Crisis!

  1. Love it Izzy! Should look at your garrisons throughout the empire (even in the old Valenwood/Khajit lands) to better manage various upkeep for units. i.e. cav as a garrison versus a free upkeep militia group. Thank you for the great content!

  2. Oh yeah Izzy, before I forget, all mercenary units (except undead and vampires) are recruited at the higher tiers of the fighters guild.
almost all undead are FREE upkeep so you might want to start phasing out your garrisons replacing them with skeletons and sending the soldiers to the front lines to die and save you money
I recommend sending ships towards the islands just off Hammerfell some of them have settlements on them, and they should be rebel. Pretty good for trade. And future expansion.
Oh and one last thing, I HIGHLY recommend doing an Orsinium campaign next its one of the best campaigns you'll ever find. Personally, I prefer third era orc, but the fourth can be good too.
Oh yeah also, Draugr are nord specific. They exist anywhere the Nords have a heavy influence—especially the old dragon worshipping Nords. I think you can only recruiter them in Skyrim. Which honestly is well worth it. In some situation there better than your heavy Aldmery units. Like against units that cause fear they would never run while your aldmery would. Plus no upkeep.

  3. I love this campaign so much. Watching all the op units do their thing is so satisfying. One thing you might could do to fix your finance and public order issue is change your capital to Falinesti. It would be more central for your kingdom and would still be even when you push into the empire lands. Having it on the far east away from most of your big profitable cities I think is hurting you financially and of course public order issues.

  4. Izzy, you should move at least some of your merchants from the isles towards southern Blackmarsch or Vardenfell to obtain Slaves and Obsidian as trade ressources. If my memory serves well, those were to best ones to get. Not as crasy as hobbit pipe weed but still remarkable non the less.
