Honestly in Deltarune, I think Gaster could be many things. Mystery Man, Redacted, something else entirely… but I doubt he'll be an eldritch abomination.
Besides, I think he'll definitly have some of that Deltarune quirkyness. The fandom tends to take these characters way too seriously, like Sans or Kris.
Even though 99% of the time, Sans is a lazybones who tells jokes and makes pranks.
And Kris is a very fun and weird kid because they make fun pranks while also being a relatable introvert. They're not just this dark and twisted kid the fandom often depicts them as.

Well DD has sent Bf into games before we shouldn’t be surprised that eventually something would take notice to Bf not belonging to that universe especially when its someone like Gaster
Well. Damn ive read this premise in fic and comica, but now i want those but bf is there. He has already met gaster after all (see: indie cross and skeleton brothers)
I love the idea / theory that Gaster got injected with so much determination during one of his experiments to the point where he's just a shambling, glitchy, and distorted mess of matter. Then getting sent to the void, where his mind slowly deteriorates almost beyond recognition to the brink of insanity, with every attempt at escape and communication failing.
And then it makes me wonder what would even race through any monster's head upon witnessing such a collapsed soul. Would they too, go insane? Or would their brain not even be able to process it, therefore blocking it out entirely? How much therapy could even fix that? It's SO cool to think about!
Loved the song, and the design of Gaster was very spooky.
