  1. FNF is a great company. The Talon is an amazing tool the designer changed the jaws of the vice slightly after the first batch were sold. Sending out a free replacement to all of the early customers. The difference was minuscule. Now it is perfect. I will have one next year. The only thing that needs the slightest adjustment on setting up is taking a few moments getting the first and second adjustable angles correct (behind the jaws and the next set screw) set to get the perfect pivot of the rotary action. All the materials are aerospace grade. Worth every cent. It will last not only your lifetime but many generations to come. The owner of FNF has a long and extensive history in fly fishing competitions. His website is well worth looking at. The range of chenille, egg materials are probably the best in the UK. Now you are supplying the Talon please consider looking into the rest of the FNF products. They would compliment other ranges. For a further revue of the Talon look up lindsay simpson fly fishing. He has been using the talon for years. He is an old friend of many years. A Scotsman who mainly fishes boat competition style on large stillwaters like Rutland Water. He has fished for the Army team. England national team. Now Army Veterans. He also covers small lakes rivers and streams. Also covers Europe and has several trips to the States. Also covers a lot of time behind the vice. He posts twice a week with additional shorts. A good man with a wide spread knowledge. And good sense of humour. And yes he has a slight Scottish accent.

  2. Get real guys. Way too much money, even for a production tyer that can deduct costs of operation. When Charlie Craven, Tim Flagler, Pat Dorsey, use them, maybe, until then my Regal,Medalion and Dyna King Baracuda will just have to suffice. JMHO

  3. Agree with your review. I’m very happy with the one I got from you. It’s also received favorable reviews from @DavieMcPail and from @lindsayiflyfish for those interested. Short of a Law vice: this is it!

  4. This is following Lawrance Waldren's jaws design which by my humble opinion is second to none from a mechanical perspective.
Here in the miserable South-East of Europe we have a lot of garage made replicas of that design.
The only drawback that I see here is the tension knob not being ambidextrous but being left handed is never easy whatsoever!
    Cheers!
