BEFORE PATCH 1.4 EVEN DROPPED we have 1.5 leaks of new characters and content updates. In this video I will explain the Mihoyo leaks situation and attempt to discuss the pros and cons. Leaks in Genshin are becoming out of hand and as a community we need to come together to discuss this because this a very hot and decisive topic. I have seen people on both sides of the spectrum and I believe the real answer lies somewhere in the middle because leaks have both good and bad repercussions.

If you are expecting some 1.5 leaks then sadly this is not the video or channel for you. I simply wish to discuss the topic in the community and how we can come together moving forward. Whether or not you consider this drama it is an important discussion point. This is something that extends further beyond you or me or any one single content creator. I think the biggest takeaway from everything is that everyone in someway is responsible in some part for the way the mess has become. The only people that really are not are those who have been hard advocators against these practices from the beginning. Even Mihoyo as well and I hope that one day they can be super transparent with the community. I love this game and I ultimately want the best for it in the end.

Also all this has me thinking, does anyone actually read the end user license agreement or do all of you just check it off without reading? Makes me wonder if we should be reading the contracts before we brush them off in case something comes back to hurt us in the end.

    Too bad MANY businesses forget that one simple fact. But anyway, I completely agree with what you said. Here's hoping this whole leak ordeal gets properly sorted out, along with other issues with the game.

  8. with how stingy mihoyo is, leaks are what allows low spender/f2p to get what they want so I support leaker. I do agree with the idea that mihoyo should just do the leaking themselves so they can control what they want to be leak. They should just give us a timeline of the upcoming character so everyone knows exactly what they want ahead of time.

  10. also it would be best if mihoyo didnt have their 1.5 patch and developer build publically acessable. however people will always hunt for leaked content or even theorys of what leaks may have due to being so starved in the game. leaks is what keeps me playing because i would have just outright dropped the game the past month especially playing since launch. mihoyo is failing extremely hard on things that need to be adressed for instance like 2fa (which chinese players already have a verion of) and do something to improve the pain that is resin (and fix the weapons banner)

  19. ah fellow mtg player. let me remind you that new mtg set was a year in the making before they start showing spoilers. mihoyo promise to do update every 6 weeks. but i get where u going just bad example.
