What if we told you that Worlds, MSI, all of Riot Games’ world-class, industry-defining events, were all run out of, what is essentially, a nebulously named, technologically miraculous briefcase.

Why? Because they had to be.

You see, for a long time, Riot esports’ remotely run events were . . . kind of a disaster. So were those of most esports, mind you, but Riot had it especially bad because of just how global they were. Riot’s tournaments weren’t just elite; they were everywhere.

And, because of that, they’ve also faced their fair share of . . . failures.

So, in an effort to rectify these issues once and for all, Riot decided to revolutionize how their events were orchestrated in the first place. What’s really cool is how they did it.

Here’s the whole story.

  1. This video just confirmed my though about riot games. They're so Bad being a tech company like the LoL client is the most buggy software I installed on my computer. And it's been years ( about 5 or 6 now) since they're trying to fix it. Back in 2012/2013 they weren't revolutionary on the tech-side or thing they were the worst too compared to other E-sports. They literally needed help from CISCO to fixe their mess. What they did right was about thé production and broadcasting thing. It's just my personnal thought don't take it for a fact.
