  1. I remember that day, the Nuke of 15th.

I had come away from the direct disappointed with the lack of Silksong news, but satisfied with the other reveals the direct had to offer. It was then I made the mistake of returning to #ss-discussion to see their reaction and was greeted with a flood of enraged members of the channel, starved and driven mad by the “neglect” they faced from Team Cherry. While chaos continued, the regulars cried out to the mods for help, but it was too late.

For what felt like an hour, #ss-discussion was in a frenzy, no civil discussions (or any order at all) to be seen, and the place was barraged with a slew of random memes and gifs from those either lamenting the events of Indie World or laughing at the madness around them.

After the initial blast had its fun, the radioactivity still lingered to corrupt the minds of those who were unfortunate to have not left. They spewed toxicity onto the screen, cursing Team Cherry for not giving them news and lashing out at civilians who had nothing to do with Indie World.

Eventually, the Nuke of 15th lost its strength and faded away, but the scars it left on #ss-discussion are still visible.

We have mostly returned to normal now, but another disaster is on the Horizon: Edge. A singular dark oval has loomed over #ss-discussion for a while now, and when it drops, who knows what will happen? Probably nothing, but we can’t truly say until the fated day arrives.
