After many interviews and speculations about World of Warcraft Shadowlands I have come to the conclusion that the Jailer, Zovaal, of the Shadowlands isn’t who you think he is.

  1. So we all know Bastion is a straight up abusive cult right? Is Blizzard saying we shouldn't have our own will and just let those above us make decisions for us? Cause that's what I'm getting with Bastion being the good guys and the Forsworne and Sylvanas are the baddies.

  2. It is kinda funny how all these “we must do what we must” and corruptions of the realms are similar to Arthas’s situation too: Ardenweld is like Arthas culling of Stratholme, the “doing what we must” part. His past zealous methodology towards “the path” of light as seen in Bastion, corruption such as Venthyr and Denathrius, and his resolve to fight which is Naxxramus. It honestly becomes funny because in this sense, all the chaos within the factions sorta are following these same, albeit not exact, patterns of survivalism or conflict. Looking forward to seeing him be judged by the Arbiter if she will judge him. Or anything to come of it.

EDIT: I watched your speculation that Ysera, but Ysera died before Ursoc, so if anything nightmare related then Xavius, as your first thought was.

  4. I think that one of our Polish YT bers has a great theory about the signs in the corners of The Map. He claims that the signs have a significance, and that these are signs used in a classic RPG games to establish a characters character ( is the caracter a selvish but also good person, is it selvish but bad, noble but cruel etc.) Im just leaving it here so u can check this by yourself.

  5. Ardenweald — Life realm, Bastion — Order realm, Revendreth — Disorder realm. Maldraxxus — Death realm, remains of old Shadowlands. Maw — Death realm, center part of old Shadowlands.
Something happen that destroyed old Shadowlands(probably Void lord invasion?), Zovaal was jailed in Maw to hold something within Torghast, his soul/powers literally jails it.

  6. Theory time!
Three of the cosmological forces (excluding death, light, and void) invaded the shadowlands at a time for fear of death becoming to powerful (everything dies and goes to him). So the forces of order, nature, and disorder, sent military forces to invade the shadowlands and establish some control in death itself. Ensuring that death could not become all powerful as things died. By establishing some order and the arbiter, they ensured that their power stayed in balance by having souls sent to their realms. Bastion (Order), Ardenweld (Nature), Revendreth (Disorder), and Maldraxxus is the all that is left of Death's military force (which is why their scout out other realms and worlds, looking for ways to thwart their enemies).

  7. Every single one of those powers needs a living host to do anything. Even void needs to infect/ be an old god or void god to be substantial. But death…that is coming for everything all the time everywhere.

  8. So was the red soul that hit The Arbiter was either Helya, Xavius or Argus? They are the only ones I can think of who would have a red soul. Can't be Sargeras since he's on lockdown with the other Titans and Illidan Stormrage… and you can still see his red starlike essemce in the sky.

  9. Order is the one to watch out for. The pantheon helps maintain order on azeroth, (helped push back disorder, death and shadow (nzoth) pushing their "territory" outward.

The titans (pantheon) are from the order side. The 4 lead people in shadowlands refer to themselves as a pantheon. Order has infiltrated the shadowlands and banished the jailor, which in turn has created order out of death.

Order are the bad guys lmao 🙂

Edit, I wrote this about 2 minutes into the video haha

  10. So the jailer has a big hole in his chest and he is coming to reclaim azeroth, sounds to me like azeroth is his "heart" his daughter his missing child. But I'm new to all this speculation stuff. Hell haven't played wow in years even

  11. My teory is that Zooval was changed into something he doesn't want to be (like Sylvanas) and this is not his true form. When they say "Jailer is coming for the soul of your world" i think that means he's coming for the soul of Shadowlands, or more precisely he's coming for the Arbiter because "they" stole Zooval's soul and place it into Arbiter so "they" could have control over soul's coming to their afterlife…I don't think Zooval is coming for Azeroth..
