Mirrors don’t reflect because they are all fake in Cyberpunk 2077. Have you wondered why you need to press a button so that the mirrors reflect your image? It is because CD Projekt Red uses an illusion to make the reflection, by creating a separate V behind the mirror cabinet and the mirror is not there (or just a transparent glass). Proof is shown in this Cyberpunk 2977 video by stopping the early Jackie cutscene and then looking inside Jackie’s Apartment while V is at the mirror. This process resembles entering the Matrix. For the mirror cutscene, the whole room is actually two rooms connected by the mirror cabinet, with each room an opposite mirror image of the other. Mama Welles and Jackie Welles apartment location finally found so you can know what other rooms are there in the game. Gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077 on PlayStation 5 (PS5).

Good!
oh well
first
doesn't suprise me lots of games do this.
I wonder why its so hard for many modern games to create convincing reflections.
"Through the Looking-Glass, and What V Found There", if you know the book.
Gta san andreas uses the same technique
Mirrors in this game are useless anyway. You're hunched over, can't turn your body, and when you turn your head you look away.
Raytracing reflection my butt.
There's no ray tracing for V. Explains why everything in the game has a reflection but them. If you go inside Judy's apartment into her bedroom, V is headless in thier shadow.
