Now all my addons are managed through Twitch, is this going to effect this or????????????

Overwolf is trying to buy goodwill as a few content creators are doing coverage, but it won't work there is a massive rejection from the player base.
The email they sent to wowup was disgusting, even if they work something out in the long term.
In the T&Cs it states that even if you turn everything off they still collect info like what apps you install and they still send / sell that data to other companies anonymous or not doesn't matter.
Whatever they say i will never trust them and never install their software, i just dont like them or need them.
If they have nothing to hide make it open source like other addon managers have.
Its bloatware nothing more. If i want to pay an addon author for their addon i will do so directly i dont want a middle man skimming off the backs of others.

Watched to the end for metrics, props on being open about the sponsorship, I already swapped to wow up and the auto elvui update is too powerful to resist especially moving into a new xpac

Paying for wow and then for addon app. No thank you. I dont trust them (Curse) at all.
Why should I trust a company like that ever again. The fact that they did harass content creators is enough not to. Wowup does everything perfectly fine and looks a lot cleaner.

I hope I don't annoy you guys with this comment. however, I would like to recommend another addon manager to you. wowup.io offers all addons from curse. but also the possibility to keep elvui up to date. the tool is open source and does not collect any data.
They stole data illegally in the past but its ok guys they totally learned their lesson… yeah right. No thank you!

Watched to the end to give you watch time, but I'm not gonna like this. Sorry, but this is trash and yes, you were selled out. WoWUP is way lighter and offers the same in an even better way and with no ads. There's no battle, discussion in this case.

Here is a big issue: The make you go opt out for privacy date. It should be directly presented as you log in the first time or standardly turned off. I predict that the masses will never even know about the ability to opt-out. I know its the same in discord, but discord doesnt have the history Overwolf does. If you think about the resource usage. If you where used to look at streams and download addons, you need now Twitch and Overwolf so you are adding resources and not replacing what twitch was using. So you are kinda wrong there.

I am currently using wowup, and im going to continue to do so. however, just because MarcelianOnline is 'advertising' paid or otherwise, doesnt mean you have to use it. for petes sake, this is the real world….it costs money to live, dont slam someone for wanting to put food on the table. pretty sure one or more of you are getting paid from a company i dont like, but im not gonna call you out on where you get your money.
I am following most of your videos and I love your content, but you just lost me here. Paid promotion for a malicious data-stealing app is something that I didn't think you would do. You have a lot of casual/newbie players that follow you, and I am extremely disappointed that you promote a toxic program like Overwolf to them… Shame on you! Unsunscribed…
