  2. In this age where games are very big business, I try not to get any more emotionally invested in them or who makes them than in the toothpaste I use. So a team did some good work in the past. They may or may not do good work in the future. I'll judge their releases as they come by reading and viewing lots of reviews, then decide if it's for me.

  3. Blizzard made history too, for partnering up with activision. This partnership will be an example for future gaming developers and their respected companies who are just as passionate or involved like Blizzard was back in 2004; heck even before the original WoW-classic was released.

  4. Its not gamers doing games for gamers anymore, its shallow people inputting senseless code for the sake of creating a product, not a game, most of these said companies release smtg that resembles to a game and might feel for a lil bit like a game but after a while you fall in the reality that its Not in fact, a game.

Blizzard cash grab in these days its dumb and people are catching up real fast, WoW is doing great because its not an MMO anymore, more like MO more action oriented and that is slighty more pleasing than the dull combat from before but eventually the nostalgic feeling they are using in their favor will eventually fade, its a matter of time, unless they do smtg real extraordinary

  5. Sounds like Blizzard hasn't been complying with Activision deadlines. Papa Activision is gonna go fetch the 'restructuring' belt.

Every story i've heard about companies absorbed and destroyed by Activision goes through 3 distinct phases.

Phase 1: Pretend they'll let the company operate normally but provide poor communication combined with sudden mandates of microtransactions or trend-chasing.
Games face strict deadlines but they're initially met admirably by devs. Game quality begins to suffer.
Phase 2: See sales drop. Start replacing leadership with compliant people ruining company communication and driving stressed veteran devs away from the company. (sometimes the leadership immediately leaves because they know whats coming and/or got their money from the merger) Every game's vision is compromised as the new leaders flail.

Phase 3: Full freefall. This phase may be brief or may last a few years. Here the company struggles to get any products to market, rushes any products that do make it to market, and loses any remaining fans or goodwill the company had. When Activision sees the writing on the wall they're absorbed/renamed/given a support role/discarded and cannibalized for talent.

Lets all welcome Blizzard to phase 2 👏👏👏

  6. Warcraft 3 was my fav game, I was so hyped and even now I keep checking in on them to always be disappointed. I won't go back to wow and try to avoid Blizzard cause of reforged. Their stock has doubled in last year which does annoy me too. They had the resources to make Reforged great
