  1. I'm coming back to the game after an extended break, I did not play most of this Chapter.
    But, I'd much rather a melee spell weapon over a new class. Having seen other games walk down the path of constantly introducing classes, it's has limited benefits.
    I'd rather they focus on broader ways to play the classes they already have.

  2. As u said i think first thing that zos should fix is optimization, lags,bugs and etc. Im w8ting for more than anything else. What about class, i'd like to see something like new skilllines more than class. 4 example spears, mb engineering or smth like that

  3. I think the next big add should be more weapon trees. A Spear / Spear and Shield / 1Hand & Focus / Fist weapon would all be fun. More Tank melee weapons &/Or melee Magicka regen weapons would all find fans. Though I understand that these could introduce more bugs/balance difficulty I think these would be more popular than another class.

  4. Gold farmer.. Armorset" Farmanese" lore" Ancient gold farming race from the east" Special ability " spawns 4 additional arms and hands to farm materials. Racial passives" venders give additional gold for junk loot>

  5. We've needed a martial arts master/monk for a while now. But that would mean introducing a new type of fist weapon, because it would break the enchantment and trait systems.

    I just don't see it happening.

  6. Feel like we're gonna get class that 3 monastic skill trees like one dedicated to hand to hand combat like we see in the dungeon and also the khajiit in elswyer another swordsmanship like sword singers and last one with something like magic dps or a healing tree

  7. I hope that they work on a weapon overhaul in 2022, a skill overhaul in 2023 and then maybe add a new class after the basic systems get fixed. I also don't think we will ever see a monk class based on what you have described here. Most likely they would just add an unarmed weapon skill line.

  8. I REALLLLLY think a Monk class would be awesome. I was thinking maybe an ability that uses a projection of some sort(i guess that would be alteration or conjuration?). Maybe call it something like "faithful disciple" "the disciples ward" "prayer atronach"….maybe it could do some sort of new holy magicka damage and have huge healing benefits in a pve group setting. the possibilities are definitely there!

    – Spellsword
    – Monk
    – Chemist (like the ones in Stone Garden)
    – Bard
    – Hunter/Poacher (places traps, pulls, grapples, cages, summons hounds, etc)

    Possible New Weapons:
    – One-hand and Spell (empty off-hand)
    – Unarmed
    – Alteration Staff

  10. They do this all the time. Take the Skeleton Dragon in one dungeon that turned into flying Dragons the following year or the giant skeleton in Unhallowed Grave that turns into this year a walking Dagon through the world… we will definitely be seeing what is happening next year in this years content.

  11. I fancy something like Sub-Classes if they did a new “class” where we can better personalise our builds through our chosen class rather than an entirely new one, that or new weapon skill lines like staff & sword, 1h and rune, gauntlets(new unarmed), Magicka rings to replace staffs.

  12. To be honest performance issues are always going to exist and as updates and docs come out it's going to get harder to iron them all out as they keep coming out. That in mind I fldont think were getting a new class for a good few years yet if they are wanting to focus on performance maximising

I would like a monk type class, you could have a water and wind tree focused on DPS, alteration/mysticism tree for more tanky effects and healing and maybe illusion magic for CC focus or weird effects. Honestly though, I'm simple to please and all I want from any of my MMO's for a long time is water attacks, I will never understand why the element is almost always ignored or just like healing rain when you could make some really cool, unique spells and effects with water skills.

  14. I am moving on. A fundamental issue I have with ESO is that "classes" do not feel like classes. I miss different playstyles that TRULY play different. A Shadow Priest in WOW plays completely different than an Affliction Warlock, both dot based. An Affliction Warlock plays completely different from a Destruction Warlock and a Destruction Warlock plays completely different than a Demonology Warlock. A Demonology Warlock plays completely different than a Beast Master Hunter, which plays different than a Marksman Hunter which plays different…..and on and on x the remaining classes.

    In ESO everyone eventually gets relegated to a specific staff, a specific weapon, using specific skills from the same skill lines for all classes played. Sure, in overland you can do what you want, in trials and DLC vent content, everyone is the same.

    I'd love a new class in ESO, this should have been the year. The next chapter looks dreary. 2020 and 2021 are already dreary enough. The champion point reset makes me feel like I am starting over again, just like WOW…so I might as well go play a game thats 15 bucks a month, unless I choose to buy a token for gold which makes it free, where all content is available to me for the price of a token or gold, very very very little being locked behind a cash store, and where classes play like classes.

    I'll miss housing, but that's it. IMO housing is the only real strength ESO has going for it. The combat, at first is amazing. After you play it for awhile on every class in game, stam and magicka, you see just how simple and samey samey it is.

    ESO needs to work a LOT harder for the money they ask to play the game. So, thanks for your input, I know my post will be met with trolls and "can I have ur stuff…derp derp" but the truth is ESO is an extremely superficial game.

    Thanks for all your hard work, but in the end your at the mercy of what the ZOS devs decide to do, which FOR ME has been pretty lackluster. ESO is beautiful but the most fun for me was collecting, sadly very little game has to be played to collect, its all locked behind literal thousands of dollars.
